A pair of red headed twins made their way down the train. They stopped and popped their heads into a compartment finding their younger brother. They chatted with the two boys for a bit before going down to another compartment.

"Lee!" One of the twins shouted at the other boy who was holding a big box. The boy, Lee, grinned at the sight of the twins.

"Fred, George! How was your summer?" He asked trying to sound polite. Fred snorted,

"Good enough made new plans for pranks and practiced for tryouts." Lee nodded,

"You two better do well. We can't keep losing to Slytherin. Weiss will get unbearable, she never says anything about it but the way her eyes gleam when it's mentioned," He shivered, "I can't stand it."

"Well we do our best to hit at her but she's too bloody fast!" George said shrugging his shoulders, "Now show us the tarantula, we have big plans for him." He and Fred rubbed their hands together in an anticipating motion.

"Only if no word gets to her, I'm not risking getting on her bad side." Lee said

"Whose bad side?" A female voice interrupted them. The trio turned to see Edelweiss standing in the doorway.

"Weiss!" Lee shouted in surprise, "Uh... no one, sorry I'll be going now." Lee darted out of the door without a glance at the twins.

"Care to explain?" Weiss asked the pair who shook their respective heads.

"We were just having a little chat, that you interrupted." Fred shot back.

"Oh, and the tarantula is the only interesting thing on the train this year?" She asked and they frowned.

"Well, Harry Potter is on the train. We met him getting aboard, he's made friends with Ronniekins." George said, excitement evident in his voice. Weiss paled, she spun around and darted off down the train.

The twins exchanged a glance and followed her quickly. But the train stopped before any of them could reach the young boy's compartment. Weiss got off the train with the Weasley twins in tow, the trio got into the same carriage, pulled by thestrals, and discussed their classes and what they did over the summer. Arriving at the castle they parted ways and Weiss sat at the Slytherin table, while Fred and George made their way to the Gryffindor table. The first years made their way into the hall a few minutes later and the hall went quiet. Names went quickly and before long Harry's name was called.

"Potter, Harry." Weiss's eyes didn't leave the 11 year old boy for a second, as he made his way up to the Sorting Hat, it took a few minutes before it finally shouted,

"Gryffindor!" The twins got up dancing and singing,

"We got Potter! We got Potter!" Draco had taken his place sitting next to her and she resumed conversing with her housemates. The ghosts arrived and the Bloody Baron took a seat on Weiss's other side, while Draco looked across at the ghost nervously.

"Baron, how have you been?" She asked the silver ghost, who sighed.

"The Grey Lady still won't forgive me. I stayed with her until after death, just to apologize but it's been centuries and she won't even talk to me." He said glaring around the table.

"Well, perhaps you should tell her how you died. She may at least understand that you felt guilty about it." She said and the Baron frowned thinking it over.

"That is a good idea," He patted through her head, "You are a good Slytherin, cunning and ambitious, just like Salzar himself." He said floating away, Weiss smiled at him and Draco pulled on her sleeve.

"You just got a compliment from the Bloody Baron, Father said that he never speaks to anyone except to tell them they aren't upholding the honor of Slytherin." Weiss patted his head,

"The kinder you are the more people want to help you, making yourself enemies is a fool's errand, making yourself allies is what truly matters." She said taking a sip from her goblet. "Oh goodness, I've missed Hogwarts pumpkin juice."
