The Great, Least, Richer, Poor Part 7 ch 16
At The Church - Dominion funeral - Celeste and Winston greeted everyone. 'Winston, how are you doing?' 'I'm trying, thanks for coming.' Katherine said, 'You're welcome. We may divorce, but I'm here for you.' 'You too.' Celeste added, 'If you need anything.' 'Thanks.' Jill and Jacob entered the church. 'Jacob, I'm glad you're here. You are a part of this family.' 'Too bad my father's gone.' Jacob said. 'Yes.' DJ came by. 'Jacob, I want to get to know you.' 'Thanks.' 'We should sit down.' Mia and Barbara sat next to Celeste, Claire, and DJ. 'We are here to say goodbye to a father, husband, and businessman.' Celeste stood up. 'I loved my husband, even with all our ups and downs. I loved him and I will miss him. I wish this hadn't happened, and we had found the driver who broke my heart.' Celeste began to cry and sat down. DJ stood up. 'I loved my father and wish he was here. I will do right by him and take over the family business.' DJ sat down as Winston got up. 'My brother and I had our differences, but I loved him.' Winston sat down. Jacob stood up. 'I wish I had known he was my father. It's not fair! We didn't get to know each other!' Jacob was upset and left. Celeste stood up again and sang as they carried out the casket.
At Cruz/Chloe - Cruz was having breakfast with Cassie. 'Cassie, I love your mother, and I want her to wake up, but she's not going to.' 'You're going to let her go!' 'Cassie, your mother isn't going to wake up. You don't want her in a coma that long; it can be damaging to your mother.' 'No! What about another doctor?' 'I'm sorry.' Cassie hugged her father.
At Genevieve/Julian - Genevieve entered Jedediah's room and looked around as Fallon came in. 'What are you doing?' 'Something's going on with my daughter; she's acting odd.' 'She's a teenager.' 'Yes.' Genevieve looked around and saw lots of makeup, some of it wrapped in the trash. 'Why would Jedediah need all this covered up?' 'Genevieve.' 'Jedediah's in a new relationship, but I don't think it's good.' 'You think she's hiding a bruise?' 'Yes.' Genevieve cried. 'You need to save your daughter.' 'I will.'
