when jiyoung woke up, her and jaehee were a lot closer than they were when they fell asleep.
jaehee had, at some point in the night, wrapped both of her arms around jiyoung and shoved her face into her neck.
jiyoung wasn't surprised that she hadn't woken up as she was used to bambi doing similar things in her sleep since the girl never stopped moving and always needed to hug something, that something being jiyoung when she stayed over.
but jiyoung was always comfortable. jaehee's breathe against her neck was warm, which felt nice in the cold hotel room. if it hadn't been jaehee of all people, she may have cuddled closer.
but it was jaehee, so she pushed away and turned to lay on her own and fall back asleep, at least for a little bit.
jaehee woke up very confused, as she was spooning jiyoung park and definitely hadn't done that on purpose but it felt nice. plus, jiyoung had a nice butt that she was pressed against.
jiyoung quickly woke up when jaehee's cold hand touched her stomach after her shirt had accidentally been pushed up a bit.
"why are you so close?" jiyoung asked, getting out of bed and glaring at jaehee.
"aw jiji, i was warm," jaehee teased, using the nickname that only bambi called her.
"shut up, oh my god. i'm taking a shower." jiyoung rummaged through her bag until she found her clothes for the day and made her way to the bathroom.
when jiyoung got in the bathroom and was waiting for the shower to warm up, she texted mary, asking how her first night with jackie had gone before she texted bambi to tell her good morning.
she immediately got a call from bambi but she shouldn't have been surprised. bambi always got up early to do her makeup and find a cute outfit.
"do you think mary and jackie could like each other?" bambi asked right away.
"no."
"because jackie is really sweet and mary is so pretty so what if- wait why'd you say now?" bambi didn't really realize jiyoung's answer until she calmed down just a little bit. she had mainly called to rant but would listen to what jiyoung had to say.
"bambi, mary has a crush on you. and jackie isn't her type anyway, mary likes cute girls, especially ones names bambi."
"jiji," bambi whined because she didn't believe jiyoung because she couldn't believe that mary could like her. she was fairly certain that mary was perfect in every way and bambi was just herself.
"call mary, bambi, i have to take a shower."
bambi did just that. she grabbed mary the moment she got off the phone with jiyoung. mary answered and completely forgot about jackie in the bed right next to her's.
"hi, bammie."
"good morning, mary. are you and jackie getting along?" bambi asked right away, despite hearing that mary had probably just woken up.
"i guess. i was pretty tired last night so i just went to sleep. why?" mary started to sit up and glance around the room that was slowly getting blighting with the sun entering through the curtains.
"are you going to hang out to jiyoung?"
"probably. why are you asking so many questions, silly girl?" mary chuckled, seeing that jackie was slowly waking up, as well.
"i'm just wondering," bambi said, unconvincingly but mary didn't say anything.
"who are you having lunch with?" mary laid back down, wishing she could see bambi in person instead of being on a stupid school trip.
"my friend, his name is youngjae. but youngjae knows yumi, too, so she sits with us."
"you don't have anyone else to sit with? are you sure you should be sitting with yumi?" mary didn't want bambi upset for a whole week because they were gone and because she had to see yumi everyday. and she just didn't trust yumi and would definitely mention it to jiyoung.
"shouldn't you be going to school soon?" mary asked when bambi didn't say anything about having anywhere else to sit.
"yeah. but... i miss you," bambi said softly, hoping that mary didn't think she was weird.
"i miss you, too. i'll talk to you later, okay? go to school."
back in jiyoung's room, jiyoung was rolling her eyes as she listened to jaehee talk to yumi. she got up and went downstairs to get breakfast, without saying anything to jaehee because she didn't want to deal with her but jaehee was quick to follow.
jiyoung texted mary and told her to come get breakfast with her and to bring jackie. if she had to deal with jaehee, she at least wanted to be with mary, too.
"how's bam?" jiyoung asked because she knew bambi had called mary.
"good, except she's sitting with yumi at lunch," mary said, not even realizing that jaehee was there because she didn't know who jaehee was or what she looked like.
"she's so stupid, sometimes," jiyoung said, shaking her head as she got some orange juice.
"do you want something, jaehee?" jiyoung asked when they sat down and jaehee joined them.
"i don't have anyone else to sit with," jaehee admitted and jiyoung couldn't help but feel bad and tell jaehee she could hang out with them.
