"what am i doing?" jiyoung asks as she looks in her mirror after trying on her third outfit on sunday night, "for a girl? i need to call bambi."
jiyoung calls bambi on facetime, just showing her outfit in the mirror. she doesn't even say anything at first, hoping she doesn't have to explain and embarrass herself.
"are you going somewhere? why are you dressed?" bambi asks because it's eight pm and any normal person is in their pajamas, like she is and she's still absolutely adorable in her silk pink pajamas with strawberries all over them.
"i'm trying to find an outfit for tomorrow," is all jiyoung says.
"what's happening tomorrow?" bambi is cute. she tilts her head to the side because she's confused. jiyoung swears she should of just dated her. (she really couldn't date bambi, she's like a little sister).
"i want to impress jaehee," jiyoung admits, receiving a squeal from bambi.
"oh my gosh! oh my gosh! you'll be so cute together!" bambi shouts, jumping up and down a bit on her butt on her bed.
"can you help me figure out what to wear?" jiyoung asks, a bit embarrassed because she's never been like this. even bambi, her best friend, had never really seen her like this.
"yes!!" bambi immediately has an outfit in mind for her and told her exactly what to wear. she loves fashion and she loves love so this is a dream come true for her. it's also just fun to see jiyoung like this.
the next day, bambi is extremely proud of how confident jiyoung looks. the young girl is nestled under mary's arm as they walk towards jiyoung's locker together.
"finally, everyone's been waiting for you two to get together," jiyoung teases, closing her locker and leaning it against her as a she looks at the two.
bambi blushes while mary kisses the top of her head just because she can now.
jiyoung is almost caught off guard when jaehee walks over to the group and stands next to jiyoung.
"good morning," she says, even if it's not very cheery. she has an iced coffee in her hand, which she gives up easily when jiyoung grabs it to take a drink.
"good morning, jaehee," bambi says happily and with a bright smile on her face. she glances from jiyoung to jaehee and back to jiyoung, taking in how cute the two are.
"oh," jaehee says as if she's snapping out of some trance, "bambi, if yumi bothers you, tell me, okay? i'll deal with her."
bambi nods and hums. "thank you."
"we should all hang out after school," mary says, able to see the chemistry between jiyoung and jaehee from a mile away.
they all agree to meet at the front of the school at the end of the day so they can just hang out, even if they don't have a plan just yet.
bambi and mary leave jiyoung's locker to go get their own drinks from the corner store across the street, and to get the girls alone together.
"you look cute today, ji," jaehee complements casually. she can see the way jiyoung reacts and she hopes the blushing is a good sign.
"thank you," jiyoung says softly, pretending to look for something in her locker so her back is facing jaehee.
jiyoung is wearing leggings so jaehee can't help but take a glance at jiyoung's butt, even if it's just a quick look.
jiyoung really is beautiful in jaehee's eyes and she wants to let the younger girl know.
