Richardo and I sat patiently and silently in library which is next to the living room, where Stemar is... Minutes after 9pm we heard Joseph's Chevy drove up in the drive way, I heard Joseph shuffling his key ring for the front door. When the door opened and I'm assuming Joseph stepped inside.

"OH SHIT! JOSEPH WHAT THE HELL BRO!" Stemar shouted
I was going towards the door but Richardo quietly stopped me.

"Why you of all person?" Was all I heard from Joseph.

"What are you talking about.?" Stemar asked

"Why would you do that to me, I thought we were brothers man!" Joseph sounds like he's crying

"Is he crying?" I whispered to Richardo
"I'm not sure if he's angry or hurt." He whispered back to me

"JOSEPH PUT DOWN THE GUN!" Stemar shouted

Richardo and I rushed out and saw Joseph pointing the gun towards Stemar.
"What the heck bro!" Richardo asked

"What are you doing Joseph?" I asked

"He fucked my girl dude! He broke the bro code. We never do shit like that, man!"

The entire room went silent after Joseph exploded. It came to my attention a tear just fell from Joseph's eye.

"Sigh, and now all of you are fucking her too..." Joseph softly said as his eyes started raining

"What the hell!?" Bridget said as she slowly descend the staircase

"No, no Joseph. Nothing like that. We brought her here to question her. And Stemar isn't the fucking her, its Okeera. We saw them together earlier today." I started and Richardo ended the statement.

There was a moment of silence before Joseph lowered his hand and started to cry softly. "Bros before hoes." He said softly and we all laughed and repeated it.

"Hello!" Bridget yelled breaking the silence

"Oh... You're still here." I said and we all turned towards her

"You can go home now." Richardo said

"I don't even know where I am." She replied

"Take her home, Richardo." Joseph said.

An uneventful week it has been since Richardo placed Okeera in the hospital, surprisingly his parents are threatening to sue us if our father don't give them 5 million before school closes. Well we don't have anything confirmation about it since Okeera's mother only said it last night when we went to see him at the hospital.

5 million is like nothing to our father's account but I don't think its safe going up in court against the owner of one of the best law firms worldwide. If dad haven't heard as yet, he'll hear tonight at dinner.

So as expected Joseph and Stemar is now single whereas Joseph dumped Bridget and Jada dumped Stemar for cheating and so on. I know I said the week was uneventful but quite allot took place; like school coming to an end, prom coming up and university application time etc...

Dad was proud of Richardo for busting Okeera up. The money spent on Richardo's karate class paid off.

Joseph claims to be cool with Stemar and Stemar claims to be cool with Joseph but a blind man can see the tension between them whenever their in the same room... Thank God I'm not in the same class as they are. I think Stemar is still in shock that Joseph would shoot him and Joseph finds it hard to believe that Stemar was under the influence of alcohol. Nobody knows how Joseph found out and nobody has any concrete evidence that Stemar did anything but Stemar himself never denied it when Joseph accused him, so we pretty much put 1 and 2 together. At one point I was going to ask Joseph how how he found out but I just figured its best left alone.

*later that night - at dinner*

Apparently dad has no idea of what's going on between Joseph and Stemar, as was expected since he knows nothing.

"So Joseph, what happened to you this week?" Our father asked breaking the suffocating tension at the table

"What you mean?" Was all he said before returning to his meal

"You left for school Monday morning and didn't show up at school. You trusty brothers didn't know about your whereabouts, not even Stemar who you in the same class with didn't know where you were. Where did you go?" Dad prod

"My head needed to be cleared, I was so frustrated and angry. I could feel him coming back and I didn't want to hurt anyone...so I went to talk to Nana for awhile and then drove to the lake house where I reunited with the boys and... Bridget." He explained

"Did I do something?" The voice of a little girl struck my brothers and I attention. Seeing that we all are equally surprised I know I'm not the only one who forgot about our little sister being here.

"No, no sweet heart. You didn't do anything, we are just having a boy's conversation. Go and finish your school project, daddy will come look at it in awhile." Dad softly said to her and she ran back where she was coming from and then dad turned back to Joseph, "you went to speak with mom? You know she is crazy right, that's why she's on the psych ward. You can't believe some of the things she says." He sternly said. It seems as if he's getting upset that Joseph went to see the crazy old lady who abandoned him

"Is it me or is it hot in here? Ice tea anyone?" Richardo trying to drift the conversation

"Yes please, thank you" I said helping out

"Stemar?" Richardo said raising the jug of ice tea

"May I be excused from the table? I have a phone call to make." Stemar said awaiting our responses. Dad has to be the first person excuse him then we follow. A rule dad made from we were kids, if you leaving the table before your meal is finished, everyone at the table must acknowledge you being excused.

"You are excused." Dad said calmly and we repeated it, after which Stemar left the table.

"University? Ring any bells anyone?" Richardo asked determined to prevent the past topic to resume.

"I'm going to apply for McIntosh's School of Psychological Sciences." Joseph answered

"Well I was planning to start working for dad at the firm next fiscal year." I said

"Um... I was planning to follow Joseph off to business school like planned 2 years ago, but now he's going to do medicine across the globe. So far from home." Richardo said and I heard Joseph mumbled to the last sentence that's the point under his breath, I believe I'm the only one who heard because I was sitting next to him.

"Okay... You have be at least 21 years old to be apart of my firm and you must have something that says your qualified in some area of law, Trevon. Chase your own dreams Richardo. Joseph, whatever happened to business or law school? Why the sudden interest in psychology?" Dad commented

"I want to understand what goes on in the minds off people like Nana and help them. And BTW I will pursue online courses in business and law. I already started an online course in law from last year, so I only have 6 academic years leave in law school. Sorry for switching up on you CharmR..." Joseph explained

"I'll just go back to my martial arts school to become a teacher there." Richardo said

"I might just go back to show biz" I said

"I thought you hated acting?" Dad asked

"No, I hated the roles I played. But now I will be the one picking which role to audition for..." I stated

"Every actor needs an agency Trevon" Joseph pointed out

"I know but I will be the one choosing which movie to audition for." I assured him.
