"Yes Sargent Smyt?"
"A witness says that he saw this man fleeing the crime scene at eleven o'clock last night. And the coroner says that she was killed between ten and eleven." he said showing me a picture of a man who made every cop's skin crawl, he was known for smuggling drugs, women, and counterfeit money into New York. His name is Bryan Daily.
"Did you get the witness's name?"
"Yeah, here it is....Kohl Ike." Said the Sargent.
"Okay where can I find her?"
"In apartment 2f. In this building." He said pointing to the building next to us.
"Okay? Have we got the name of the victim?"
"No not yet. We're still checking with neighbors."
"Well hurry. I'm not going to wait all day!" I said impatiently. Bryan Daily, just great.

"She was one of those religious weirdos, always trying to get me to go with her to her little church in the village. Really pushy, telling me I'll go to hell or whatever. Honestly I didn't and I still don't really care."
"Okay Ms. Ike, that's all the questions we have for now. Oh wait! One more thing. Was Ms. Gladstone dating any one?"
"Yeah, Joe Trest or something like that."
