Oh damn if I've seen that colour blue.
Just think of the fun things we could do".

Ishan's POV

I walk back to the pavilion, all tired after the match and that long talk before the presentation.

"Congoooo!!", Smriti shouts and jumps on my back.

"Utar ja because main tujhe piggy-back ride nahi dene waala hoon. And stop acting like I won the Man of the Match, jo main nahi hoon.", I groan.

"Arre fine chill. But whatever, going to the finals is not easy ok. But Chennai will kick your ass in the finals", she tells.

(A/N: They didn't, but whatever)

"Very funny. By the way, I'm planning to ask Harshitha out on a date now."

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!"

"No I'm just joking."

"Oye what the hell! April 1st is already gone, this is May."

"Wahin. Main mazaak nahi kar raha thi pagli. I'm actually going to ask her out."

"Finally.", she mutters.

I get into the dressing room and see Harshitha scrolling her phone, checking her Instagram I guess.

"Hey!", I tell her to let her know I've come.

"Aye hi! God you're finally back, main kab se wait kar rahi thi.", she sighs in relief and comes to hug me.

According to Smriti, she wasn't much of a hugger. In fact she hates hugs. I have to tell it to Smriti, to make sure she gets all jealous. Point noted.

I hug her back tightly. "Ishan don't sqeeze me, main gayab nahi hoone waali hoon.", she giggles. She's so adorable.

"I can't help yaar, your hugs are so nice. Smriti and Shirali are really missing something.", I laugh.

"Well, I don't really hug them I don't know why. Smriti is probably the hugger in our group. She just loves hugs."

"Well, that's the typical Smriti."

"Ugh, I'm such an idiot. I forgot to tell this, you were amazing today."

"I didn't play that well also."

"You did, shut up. You didn't have much time that's it."

"Just one minute, I'll change and come.", I tell her.

"Haan thekhe."

I go inside to change and think for a while. This is your moment Ishan, you can do it.

I take a deep breath before going out. Damn these nerves. I ask her, "Hey Harshitha. Mera ek friend hai who wants to ask this girl he likes out and he wanted advice from me. Toh tujhe kya lagta hai? Like usse yeh kaise karna chaiye?".

"Hmmm, I think ki it should be cute amd simple. Not the really cliche and surprising way."

Ah thank god, I've finally got the way.
I search for a rose around, even though I know that there's no way there won't be one in a freaking dressing room.
