Burden

The supersonic booms of flesh hitting the ground clapped against her ears, the rush of wind caressed her disheveled hair like a mother's hand.

Sakura Haruno was carrying out poetic justice.

It wasn't a fair fight.

Sasuke had spent the last three hours fighting all five Kage, his chakra levels were low and he used up all his ocular prowess, it was only through straining he was able to form his incomplete Susanoo with its arm. But in the face of Sakura's almighty fists packed full of refined chakra, it crunched, splintered and shattered under her.

If you asked Tamako, she would agree that Sasuke deserved this.

His lack of responsibility had led him to abandon the entirety of Taka, leaving them for dead and quite literally about to kill the one that helped him the most today. Karin was a godsend, the only reason why he had enough strength to face Danzo. She shared her chakra, and he used her like a battery. Taking her in, depleting her and now about to dispose of her.

He undoubtedly used Tamako's own love for himself to his advantage, relying on her to get him out of sticky situations, using her as a literal meat shield. She'd saved him so many times, expended all of her chakra and he dared to question if she'll stop him. Because he knew, that she both emotionally and physically couldn't, because she placed him higher on priority than Karin.

Tamako was honestly incredibly surprised that Sasuke even knew what Sakura was up to. In her mind, he was so far gone that maybe he may have forgotten about her, but he remembered the detail of her being a skilled Iryō Ninja. Why was he so willing to kill her after probing her supposed loyalty? He knew she was lying yet he played her so easily

Was he angry that even she had plotted to kill him?

Tamako was now angry at Sasuke for being angry.

How stupid could he be?

From Tamako's short time with Team 7, it was almost so easily noticeable that Sasuke had a soft spot for the kunoichi. He cared about her, his eyes always flickered towards her during fights and Sakura herself always prioritized his wellbeing, no matter what.

Was he hurt that she switched up? It was almost ironic that he wanted Sakura to stay the same despite him changing in so many deranged ways.

Sasuke, you can't treat people like this. Expecting them to give themselves all, abusing them at whim once they've reached their limit and become useless. Would she be next?

Her heart burns.

Itachi would know what to do. She needed to see Itachi.

From all her time scheming, planning and working herself to the bone, she felt like she was about to crack. Her body has failed her, soon her mind will too. She almost forgot, no matter how much she rages that children are suffering under the mismanagement of adults, she's also just a teen. Scheming against the world.

One particular heel kick sent Sasuke flying into the water, he spluttered against the water and his Susanoo all damaged and barely kept its form. There were tears streaming past Sakura's cheeks, flying in the air at each punch and kick and Sasuke took it, his Susanoo so battered it was a miracle he was still up.

From the dull way his Sharingan shined, she could tell he was near blind.

He pulsed out chakra that pushed the Pinkette back, his Susanoo groaned as the bone repaired, strands of muscles wrapped around as skin enveloped its whole. It pulled out its crossbow and shot, aiming at the girl.

She flew in the air, twirling her body and just barely dodging the arrow and swung her fist. The impact pushed Sasuke against the bottom of the bridge, completely shattering it behind him as an ugly grin festered on his face.
