The walk back to the camp wasn't a very long one so before you all knew it you were back at home base. Once you all arrived everyone split up to do they're own thing. Taiju was finding a safe place to put Yuzuriha, Tsukasa was giving himself a tour and Senku was being Senku and collecting things you know nothing about. You felt lost, you didn't really know how you fit into this equation nor what your role could possibly be.
You sit near the camp fire place. The flames weren't lit as it was the middle of the day but you had nothing else to do so you just stared at burnt wood thinking about life. Thinking of what to do from this point on, what would your purpose be. You look over to the tree house and notice everyone's there. Taiju waves for you to come over. You were kind of comfortable sitting on the floor having an existential crisis but you get up anyway. 'Don't want to be left behind again'
Up in the tree house everyone's introducing themselves
"My name is Tsukasa Shishio"
"Surnames are meaningless in this new stone age, but the name's Senku the smart one. I handle the science around here"
Senku looks at you to give you the hint that you should introduce your self next. You roll your eyes at him 'Senku is such an asshole sometimes i swear' you introduce yourself to Tsukasa
"My names (Y/N) (Y/L/N) and i'm the um... Artist, yeah artist. I'm in charge of remembering all major art movements and as many songs as I can so that we stay cultured. Also im in charge of memes so yes I am cringey "
Tsuakasa cracks a smile and you hear Senku chuckle. You're a little surprised Senku reacted since hes been acting like an asshole lately. But that's still your mans or will be your mans so you gotta let his attitude slide occasionally.
"My names Taiju I do all the heavy lifting around here"
"So what do you guys usually eat around here"
You're new to all of this so you just assumed fish without realizing that's not the case. Senku and Taiju would usually eat wild greens, mushrooms and if they were lucky fish.
"Senku~ that sounds horrible. I guess i'm going to starve to death"
You aren't a picky eater you just liked bothering Senku. Senku walks towards you and pulls your ear briefly
"Ouchhhh"
"(Y/N) you are so dramatic, I would never let you starve so don't even think about it. We are all gonna survive to see civilization rise."
You smile Senku it's so cute whenever he get this way, he has so much passion in his eyes. Its almost as if this was his destiny. All those years of studying just to rebuild mankind. It makes your heart flutter just thinking about him. You know your're in good hands if they're Senku's.
"You wont live like that any longer.."
Tsukasa glances towards you as hes finishes his sentence by saying
"..As long as I am here"
Senku looked over at the both of you, you felt his stare so you looked towards his direction. He was looking at Tsukasa with cautious eyes, you write it off as Senku being paranoid. 'Senku's cautious of everything its a natural fact at this point'.

You are exhausted you spent the rest of your day picking up shells with Taiju. You still weren't sure why you did all that for but Senku told you to do it so you did.
At this point the sun has already set, Senku and Taiju have withdrawn to bed. You and Tsukasa are siting by the campfire. You really do enjoy sitting by the campfire and just looking at the fire. You're just thinking about random memories when you hear Tsukasa clear his throat.
You look at him and tilt your head in confusion, he then proceeds to say
"uh you remember me?"
Your tilt your head again to the opposite side and look up to the sky as you think
"Uh yeah from the convenience store. I've seen you a couple times. You remember me??"
You are honestly genuinely confused as to why anyone would ever remember you. You aren't extraordinary the best thing you have going for you in your opinion is your personality but honestly even at times you feel like that's lacking.
"Yeah I remem- I remember you. You're not very hard to miss"
"Um excuse me???"
'Watafak he means im not hard to miss is he calling me ugly???, oh ima bout beat his ass I swear to god' You make a face and Tsukasa realizes what he said could have been interpreted differently
" oh no-no, i-i meant that you're kind of unforgettable, you have a positive energy that just radiates out of you I don't know how to explain it"
Tsukasa looks away from you towards the ground in clear embarrassment. You are honestly shook by what just occurred. You don't even know what to say 'This is very out of character for Tsukasa, has he been food poisoned or something??' You are clearly flattered , your face has a slight red hue that the moon light has made visible.
"oh haha thanksss, your cool too"
You finger gun at Tsukasa. At this point you have forgotten how normal humans react to a compliment so you are just doing whatever comes to your mind. You feel like dying when you realize how cringey that action you just did was. Tsukasa found it adorable and he chuckles.
"You clearly need some sleep"
Tsukasa says with a smirk on his lips. 'Omg bro I cant be alone with this dude, might fuck around and fall for him. No I gots to stay loyal to my crush who doesn't even like me :')'
"Y-yeah i should go.... BYE"
You run away from Tsukasa and head into a small hut where you usually spend your nights. 'What a day, I feel emotionally and physically drained' you think right before you drift into sleep.
