Dumb love ( Senku x Reader)

(There's a song this chapter so yay thanks to the amazing @ShiroTheStarDuelist, I hope I did it some justice. The next chapter will have a similar theme w/ the song. The song is the edge of dawn <3, I skipped some verses but its still in chronological order for the most part lol enjoy the chapterrr )

You're up early, not your choice, you just didn't sleep well. You had a bad feeling about the day and you're no psychic but this feeling isn't something you could just ignore. So instead of sleeping you're up.

You start walking around the camp and see Yuzuriha and Taiju out cold. 'They stayed up way too late talking, how cute'  You keep walking and right around the corner Senku is knocked out as well. You giggle ' For someone who kept hounding us about urgency yesterday he sure is sleeping peacefully' and continue walking over to the edge of the mountain and sit.

The sky is soon painted in beautiful blue and yellow hues as the sun rises. The sunrise really reminds you of everything you once had, and oddly enough it reminds you of one of your favorite games, so you can't help it when you break out into song.

Senku wakes up to the sunrise and the melody of your voice. It's entrancing, and he'd never admit it but he finds you and your voice incredibly beautiful. He watches you from afar scared to make a sound, scared that if he gets to close you might stop and the dream you've put him in would abruptly end. But like a moth drawn to a flame he keeps approaching you against his will controlled by his desire to hear you, be near you.

The sky gets brighter each second that passes, and yet time doesn't pass fast enough. For Senku time has slowed down perfectly to take in all your beautiful notes, but the dark of the night that was once so visible has been consumed by the sun who can't stop growing. And just as the dark was consumed, Senku was being consumed by you. He was close enough that he could easily whisper and you'd immediately turn around, just like back then

You were in the lab with Senku doing after school club activity nonsense, it was getting late, Senku remembers looking out the window and the sky being alight with a strong orange tone that was slowly fading.

It was your voice, Senku was hearing your voice. His experiment was dragging on so he asked for your assistance and happily agreed. He gave you some instructions to follow, simple stuff pouring liquids into beakers nothing you couldn't handle. He was surprised to see you so focused on the task you forgot he was in the room.
