Dumb love ( Senku x Reader)

The world falls into silence as you no longer hear his words but just watch his lips move. ' He's gonna die. He's gonna die and there's nothing I can do'  You fall onto the ground on your hands and knees and look at the stone. All you hear are Tsukasa's next words.

"Senku if we.. if we had met before the stone world we could have been good friends"

Tears start falling down your eyes as you know what's about to happen next.

Everything soon passes by in a blurr. 

You're not sure when but somehow Yuzuriha grabs your arm and drags you until you're all running god knows where. You look back once and lock eyes with Tsukasa, you think you see a hint of hurt in them but you quickly turn back to the direction you're running in. 'he can't seriously be hurt, him hurt? What a fucking clown'

Soon Yuzuriha and Taiju stop running.

The moment you all stop you fall to the ground on your knees and start bawling your eyes out. You can barely breath, you can't hear, all you can do is cry. You're honestly shocked because you don't remember consuming that much water to be able to cry the way you're crying. At some point in your crying you cover your face with your hands and cry into them. Your heart feels as if its on the brink of shattering and if you ponder too long on the actual situation it might do just that.

Taiju and Yuzuriha leave you alone in your agony, you're too busy crying to care about whatever they're doing.

You feel a presence walk up behind you and then kneel behind you. You assume it's Yuzuriha going to hug you so you pay it no mind and continue crying. Soon you feel the presence of the body on your back and their hands replace the ones you were crying into. You're confused 'This doesn't feel like Yuzuriha and the bodies to small to be Taiju'

"W-What" you choke out

At this point you're too exhausted for your brain cells to come together and produce a coherent thought. The person remains silent with their hand still covering your eyes and their chest on your back warming you up.

You feel a breath on your neck and get frustrated at the situation so you quickly remove the hands and turn around to face this person. Your eyes widen in realization and your face involuntarily blushes as you remember how close he was to you.

Senku chuckles "Took you long enough, crying over me as if I weren't right next to you"

You tackle him to the ground and Senku thinks you'll kill him with how strongly you're hugging him. Yuzuriha and Taiju laugh and joined the hug.

After a few minutes you all dust off and Senku starts discussing what will happen going forward

"I'm going to go after the potential ally and gather resources, the three of you will crawl back to Tsukasa and become spies. When the time comes i'll call upon you for information"

Taiju and Yuzuriha happily agree, you on the other hand

"Respectfully, no" You interject

"(Y/N) you are a contrarian, this is the only way. If any of you fails to go with him he'll always be suspic-"

"WRONG" You happily exclaim, Senkus face twists in annoyance

"What do you me-"

"Well if you will let me explain i'll let you know" you beam, Taiju and Yuzuriha just look at each other and then back at you curious to know more, Senku just stares at you waiting for you to proceed, you clear your throat and continue

" OOOooobviouusslyyyy I can't just disappear, but if he thinks I dieeedddd theennn..." You elongate every word in hopes of the message coming across, and cross it did

"THEN YOU COULD JOIN SENKU!! and another helping hand is always better than none"

"EXACTLY, Thank you Taiju" You and Taiju both start snickering, feeling pleased in your ideas. Senku rolls his eyes, it seems like you and Taiju really do share one braincell. Senku then walks over to a tree ignoring the two beaming idiots in front of him. He picks up a strange flower, not known to you, Taiju, nor Yuzuriha.

"I suppose if you intake this plant you could possibly fake your death" Senku smugly says with that evil grin on his face that sends chills down your spine

"That is if he's not familiar with it" Senku holds up a beautiful leaf, ripped from the plant at the base of the tree. Its leaf had a reddish purple center with a green border. You've never seen it before but you supposed it looked dangerous.

"This plant, Coleus, is native to the equator but I'm sure after the thousands of years that has passed, it must have sprouted from some nearby botanical garden. What matters is the appearance may look dangerous but in actuality it is quite harmless"

Senku then walks up to you and shoves the plant in your face

"Eat it"

Taiju and Yuzuriha share glances with one another before saying in unison

"EAT IT?????"

You take the plant from senku and bite down

"SHE ATE IT??????"

"And it tastes like shit" You say while chewing

"Don't swallow all of it, lay down and lets pray to science he buys this shit"

You all agree and get into positions, Senku leaves as he cant be in the vicinity in case the plan fails, Tsukasa must think he's dead at all costs. Your fake death is merely a bonus.

Soon enough Tsukasa walks towards you. Yuzuriha is crying at your side and Taiju is looking distressed, you are currently holding your breath and staying as still as possible.'I was trapped in a stone for thousands of years this is light work, all I have to do is not laugh' the seconds feel like hours you're just praying he buys it.

The way I kept getting distracted while writing this lol ill make tomorrows chapter longer hehe

Also there will not be a love triangle in this story lol kohaku is best girl and will be your friend I love her too much to make her an antagonist u-u

Update schedule: Currently I have spring break so i'll try uploading everyday this week and will probably double update tomorrow/today (cus its 12am lol so 3 uploads), after that I'll go back to my once a month until break again cus I be busy with school
