Third Person P.O.V.
Lightning struck the top of one of the castle's many turrets. Chanting could be heard from inside the structure, the sound carrying through the walls and to the outside from the sheer power and echo.
And though the outside was dark and ominous. The inside seemed to be much worse.
Inside the tallest tower, stood a wizard draped in robes black as coal. With his arms raised, he continued chanting the evil spell, trying to fulfill his mission.
Drops of sweat could be seen falling from his covered face. Strands of light blue hair peeked out from under the hood.
Finally, the wizard fell to his knees, weak. The magic he used taking up too much of his energy... once again.
"I am sorry Master. I have failed you again." The wizard forced out in a tired voice. As his head bowed, he tried to regain his breath. In the center of the room, laid a circle with strange symbols and floating above it, was a shadow being. It radiated evil and darkness.
This being said nothing, however, it communicated it's disappointment clearly. It's piercing red eyes stared into the wizard's head before the creature slowly started to fade.
"Yes, Master. I understand." The wizard stood up, still slightly panting, then he walked away.
As the being faded completely, the cloaked figure shut the door behind him in anger and began stomping down the spiral stairs.
Downstairs, several people were minding their own business. Like an evil summoning hadn't just happened upstairs.
The only girl in the group bounced around cheerfully. She stopped for a moment when she heard angry footsteps getting closer. "Sounds like Shigaraki's coming down from his wizardy hole!"
A man with a single stitched scar on his forehead spoke up, "It's not a hole. It's a tower." The girl pouts, "Yeah, but it's fun to call it a wizardy hole." She giggled.
Another stitched man, this one having a majority of his face scared, rolled his eyes at the blonde girl and continued to sharpen his blade. All the people in the room turned their heads they heard angry footsteps.
Shigaraki came storming into the room, mumbling to himself. "Why didn't it work? I did everything as planned. The spell was perfect. Not a symbol was drawn wrong. The lightning came as it should. So... WHAT WENT WRONG??!!" The blue-haired man screamed ripping the wizard robe off himself and throwing it to the ground.
He put a hand to his forehead, mindful of the cursed rings placed on his fingers. All of them touch his skin at once and he will become nothing more than a pile of dust for Jin to sweep up. Luckily them being on his fingers doesn't count.
Now dressed in his 'everyday' clothing, which consisted of his dark gray patterned tunic and black trousers, he grabbed his hoodless cloak and draped it over his slender shoulders. He walked over to the throne and slumped into it, rubbing his temples.
Dabi walked over to him, casually swinging his sword over his shoulder. His exposed chest showing off a history of battles through scars and burns. Matched with the glint of barbarity in his eyes, he showed off the intimidation that he was known for.
"So what now? It didn't work. It's the same result you've gotten the last 7 times you've tried it. How do-"
"Actually it's not the same! There was much more lightning this time! Not to mention, there was a huge wave of something that shot out from the tower." Toga said cheerfully, albeit a little airheaded. She casually went back to tormenting the baby dragon they had captured weeks ago hoping it would be useful in some sense. She paid no mind to the fact that the usually spiteful hatchling was slowing down.
Shigaraki quickly perked up, "Huge wave? When did that happen?" He was anxious to know what the half seer meant. He hadn't felt anything, though that could have been the fact that he was just so exhausted from the summoning that he hadn't been aware. Toga, being part seer, would have been subconsciously aware of anything that changed in the atmosphere, even if she wasn't mentally.
"Oh, right before the lightning disappeared. There was this huge blast! BOOM! Hehehe. Then it was gone. Spread out to the four corners of the map. Woosh!" She spread her arms out to emphasize her noises, giggling like she was the funniest person in the land. "Not sure why though... It didn't bring him back. So it probably wasn't important."
Ignoring the naive girl, Jin popped up with a curious tone, "Hey, Boss! If the spell didn't bring this so-called 'Evil One' back... What did it do?"
Shigaraki furrowed his brows, thinking what exactly the spell could have done. Suddenly, all attention was brought to a tiny feeble cough. The group of villains watched as the little dragon laid down and slowly started to become pale. Dabi raised a brow,
"Well, whatever it was. It seems to have affected the dragons."
