Charles looks around and get up to lock the door. "Okay I'll tell you but only now that we can't be interrupted, my children will find a way to, it doesn't matter what it is they will interrupt . Okay, Joseph met you when you were two and he was seven. One summer we decided to stay in the states so that Joseph could be near his other grandparents. Of course while visiting I had to see my best mate your father. You don't know but he and I met here in London as teens. We've been friends since. Anyway, on our visit to see your parents, immediately you took to Joseph. You followed him from the front door to the living room of your house and when he sat down you climbed into his lap. It was adorable, you kissed and hugged him the entire evening, and Joseph was so patient with you. It amazed Sara and I because he never cared to be kissed or hugged by anyone. " he smiled remembering.

"So that summer you and Joseph were inseparable. You would repeat everything he said and did. So Joseph decided to educate you with your alphabet and numbers. You were a natural born genius, I believe Joseph suspect how special you were. He taught you colors and shapes, and then the biggest surprise was when he taught you to read and add. Your mother found a gifted and talented school to come and evaluate you to see what she could do to further your education. Of course Joseph was extremely happy that he had a great importance in your life. You see the faculty suggested that whoever started teaching you should continue because you responded positive to them."

I'm astounded, "My husband made me smart? " I can't help but smile.

" Yes, when the summer was almost over and you knew Joseph had to leave soon, you wouldn't let him leave your sight. You'd beg for him to stay a night and he would because he was just as attached to you. Every morning when your parents awoke they would find you in the bed with Joseph. They decided to close your door at night because they knew you couldn't open it on your own. After that they would find Joseph curled up on the floor beside your bed. Your parents, my wife and I knew that it was going to devastate you two when you had to separate. "

I'm holding back tears and my throat is throbs with pain.

" So yes that departure was sad. James said you cried for weeks and my brave nine year old son did the same. The only thing we could think of to stop the tears were to let you hear each others voice everyday over the phone. We would allow you two to talk for an hour a day. Believe me you two never tired of each other. After three years had passed we visited again. Of course Joseph stayed over your house more than two months out of that summer. Now we were all okay with you two spending all of your time together until you told us that you were to be married because you couldn't live without each other. With Joseph being twelve that was highly inappropriate. So we shortened our trip and came home. We didn't allow you to talk to each other over the phone, we had no choice but to cut off all communication between you two."

I can't stop the tears; as I listen the memories of that time magically appear. I feel the heartbreak I felt at that young age. It felt as if they had ripped my heart right out of my chest.

Charles continued, " James called me begging for a solution. He said you wouldn't eat or talk to anyone and he was scared of losing his baby girl. I told him Joseph was about the same, and he was taking his anger out on his fellow class mates. James and I searched for days and finally came up with hypnotherapy . They set you up with hypnosis, now this person suggest a cut off switch just in case it was true love between you. We felt if you two were meant to be together we were happy but you were both too young to focus on relationship matters. So the switch was created when you were hypnotized. "

I had to know, "What was my switch? "

He inhaled and exhaled with a sad smile, "The first time you kissed Joseph your true feelings will reveal themselves. "
