CHAPTER FOURTEEN

I have to admit training is a breeze with my new powers. But today's the day where I put them to the test. Bali, Presely, and I have a mission to retrieve a deadly virus from a enemy laboratory in Colorado. We're on our way now but it's killing me. Bali and Presely know about my weapon choice so I propose an idea. At first they think it's ridiculous but since we are an hour behind because we weren't told that we had to hike up and over three huge mountains they gave it a shot. I turned into a flying horse or what you might know as a Pegasus. I seriously love this thing. While in training with Elaina she told me how she implanted a chip in herself so she knew all it's secrets. She transformed into a little blue wolf that could talk! I was having fun showing off my flying skills until Presely got sick. I landed and they got off. I took the snow and turned my nose into an elephants and sprayed the puke off my back.Back as me, I glared at Presely.

"You couldn't tell me you get sick from heights before I started flying?" I asked annoyed.

"I thought I would be fine... Until I looked down." She gave a half-hearted smile.

"Okay well we've made up the lost hour plus another." Bali calculates, "We an walk it from here but once we get close well have to start sprinting and can't stay in one spot for more than five minutes or else they'll detect us on their scanners." She groans thinking of how much work that's gonna be.

"Hold on a second, Presely come here." She walks over and I turn my body into a cloak wrapping myself around her expect for my head. "We have their scanners right?" Bali nods as Presely is freaking out. "Scan us."

"This is crazy... I can only see her head!" Bali was so excited she squealed. She never squeals.

"Okay now tell me," I let go of Presely, "right before we hit the detector. Now how about we go for a piggy back ride?"

I change into female lion and let's just say this is so much fun! I'm not even tired from all the changing either. It takes about another hour, including water breaks for me. Once Bali yells for me to stop I transform into that special cloak, engulfing them as we fall. I scream out in pain from the impact but keep them concealed. They checked to see if I was okay, I lied and said I was. I can only check if I'm in my natural form. Right now that's not an option. The mission is the main objective. I stretch out and have the girls stand as my puppets. Bali's right leg was wrapped with Pres' left one with their arms hooked so it was easier for me to move them. It took about thirty minutes to get to our original rendezvous point. I split myself in two and wrap around the two of them. It took about four minutes and there's a guard coming. guess four minutes was too long. Bali points her gun at him but I force her arm down. She starts cursing at me as I basically take over both of their bodies to scale the wall and get into the air ducts of the building.

Bali hits me and I hold back a scream. My shoulder is broken and I can't perform surgery or heal myself. Bali is the tech her and she needs to stay while Presely and I go infiltrate the lab. The virus is in a guarded room in the center. She guides us through the ventilation system until we reach our target. The vile containing the virus is in the brief case. Bali informs us that the lasers can be deflected if a mirror hits them. The only problem are the guards standing a foot away from the lasers. They're sure to notice the red beams of extreme heat rushing past them. She sends a layout of them room to Presely's phone. There's the brief case in the center on a stand, the five guards form a circle around it along with the lasers. The guards supposedly have the latest military edition for machine guns, which doesn't even matter.

Presely asks me if I can can turn into rope and a mirror at the same time. I give the most annoyed/'are kidding me' look. She backs off as I turn my hurt shoulder and arm into the mirrors and turn the rest of me into the rope. I make sure to have a mirror like reflective surface covering the rope in case a laser hits. I'd prefer not to have a piece of me severed off when I return home.
