Chapter 10

CHAPTER TEN

"The doctor will get that off of you as soon as we get to the lab... Do you remember the one side effect you didn't want to happen?" Wolf asks starting the car.

"Yes why?" If the side effect is true I'm going to be livid...

"Kay well umm you now are going to look like someone completely different. But you'll still look like your brothers sister. Oh and he said your eyes are gonna change color depending on certain moods." He informs me as I'm about to go ape on him!

"What the actual fuck Wolf?! So now I'm going to be an even bigger target for the world to discover! Your an asshole! I should've just gone off the grid and lived in Alaska or over seize in London! But no you had to have me take a huge fucking ginormous risk and go with this psychos plan... I swear I'm gonna kill you myself one day." I yell at him with Allyza and Hailie scared.

"Your eyes are red..." Allyza squeaks.

"Great I look like I'm possessed when I'm mad..." I say taking a look on my camera phone, "I'm sorry if this is scarring you guys. It's the last thing I wanted for you to go through." I apologize sinking down in my seat.

"It's okay... I can handle it, and Allyza can get used to it. For now let's just get through tonight and tomorrow, okay?" Hailie says stroking my hair. I don't know why but stroking my hair always calms me down.

"Okay." I give her a small smile and fall asleep.

I don't like missing the second day of Digi Tour and MAGCON (if you can even call it that anymore). There's more of the guy's friends we would've gotten to meet but then again they probably are staying longer than a few days. In five hours I'd managed to stop to use the bathroom four times because I thought I was getting my period. Seriously these cramps just won't quit. I took strong pain meds and they are still here! Maybe I just ate something and my stomach is in knots... Whatever. We get to the lab and the first thing I do when I see the doctor is scream bloody murder at him for bringing this idea to have a mask on my face in the first place. I no longer will look like a perfect mix between Cameron and Sierra, but I'll look like another version of Sierra with Cameron's nose. Imagine Sierra with Cameron's nose? It doesn't fit! After a good hour of arguing with the doctor he agreed to do plastic surgery to give me my old face back. I'm put under for the surgery to begin and next thing I know I'm waking up in bed with a cast on my nose and tubes up it.

I sit up slowly and look around. I see Hailie and Allyza sleepy on a bunk bed to my left and Wolf on a couch to my right. I get out and walk out of the room down the hall looking for the bathroom. Instead I run into the doctor who is surprised that im up and walking around already.

"Well I have to be up anyway for the trial. What's up my nose? I can't breathe. I've become a mouth breather!" I yell shaking him.

"My dear hold on. I'll heal your nose faster so I can take them put right before you enter the court room." He grabs my hand and leads me down another hallway.

"Are you gonna do some experimental stuff again? Cause I have to ask you about me not getting my period. I haven't had sex and I'm late so is this some sort of side effect or what?" I ask him concerned. I should have gotten it two days ago and I haven't been late since two years after I got it.

"It's a side effect don't worry as long as you don't have any pains, that seem like cramps, or mimic your menstrual cycle, you'll be perfectly fine darling... Now lay down so I can spray a secretly formulated bone healing spray." He instructs. For a mad scientist I don't know why I trust him.

"How long am I gonna laying down for?" I ask right as he places a mask over my face, leaving my nose exposed, and a plastic sheet over my body.

"Let me guess you have to pee?" He guesses annoyed. I only nod smiling, "It's gonna be thirty minutes. Think you can hold it?" He asks. I sigh but nod again.
