My eyes went wide as I looked away then to Ned. His face had gone white as a ghost and he swallowed hard. I quickly closed the door and we walked to his car in silence. The rest of the drive to the restaurant was silent as well as none of us knew what to say."Reservation for Ned." He said as we walked up to the hostess.
We were seated at a table and I finally spoke up, "I'm so sorry Ned." I said, putting my head in hands.
"Don't- Don't be sorry" he chuckled.
"I have no idea what- what he was thinking" I stuttered, trying to cut through awkwardness.
"Hey" he took my hand. "It's alright."
We ordered our food and I ordered a glass of wine. I quickly drank the first glass as to calm my nerves and help with the awkward tension that still lingered from before. Another glass was soon brought over and was quickly drained as well. We talked for the rest of the evening, having left any thoughts of the previous event behind. He soon paid and we were in the car, on our way back to Baker Street.
We stood outside the flat, giggling about something unimportant.
"I had a great time tonight" he said.
"Me too" I said, really feeling the wine.
Then, he leaned in and kissed me. The kiss was soft but didn't last long as a group of people walked by, bring us out of the moment. We said our goodbyes and he left as I put my key in the lock and went inside.
I stumbled to get my shoes off as I sat on the bottom step. I sighed in relief as my feet were finally set free, meeting the cool floor.
"Have fun?" I heard Sherlock ask from the top step.
"Yes, I did" I slurred, still sitting.
He let out a huffy breath.
"What's your problem?" I asked, looking over my shoulder to look at him.
He was dressed in pyjamas and a silk robe.
He raised his eyebrows at me, not answering."You don't like Ned." I answered for him as I stood up. "What did he ever do to you?"
He still didn't say anything and I just threw my hands up. "Fine." I sighed, walking towards my room.
"You're right" he finally spoke up.
I stopped walking and looked over at him, raising my eyebrows. "Well I know that!" I slurred.
A small smile came to his face but soon if returned back to the same blank face as per usual.
"Well, goodnight Sherlock" I said, finally reaching my room.

I stood by the kettle once again as I waited for it to boil. My head was pounding and I leaned up against the counter, closing my eyes. I had only had two glasses of wine but I barely drank so I was a lightweight.
"Good morning" John said as he walked into the kitchen.
I just made a noise, acknowledging him, still not opening my eyes.
"Somebody has fun last night" he chuckled.
I chuckled and finally poured myself a cuppa. I offered John one and he agreed.
"Not going to offer me one?" Sherlock asked as he appeared out of the hallway.
"No. Not after the way you acted last night..." I said, taking a sip of my tea.
He scoffed and poured himself some.
"What happened last night?" John asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Sherlock doesn't like Ned." I said as Sherlock and I made eye contact.
"Really?" John asked, surprised. "Why's that?"
Sherlock just looked at both of us and without saying a word, he walked into the living room.
I rolled my eyes and sat down next to John to finish my liquid breakfast.

"So, if you take the first number-" I explained to the class before I heard the door open.
"Ms. (Y/l/n), you're needed in the head office." The girl said.
"Alright. Just complete pages 6-10, I'll be right back." I said to the students as I left the room.
I made my way to the head office and opened the door.
"Ah! Ms. (y/l/n)!" Headmaster Barker greeted me.
"These are for you" Amy, the head secretary said as she handed me a file.
"What is it?" I asked.
"We aren't sure, somebody dropped it off for you." She shrugged.
I took it and made my way back to my classroom, deciding I would look through it later.

I was seated at my desk as I flipped through the next days lesson. The students had all gone home and I was finishing up my work. My leg bounced as I tried to keep my focus but I couldn't help but glance at the file that sat in the corner. I finally gave up, opening the file and flipping through it, scanning my eyes across each page. My eyebrows furrowed together as a bunch of jumble letters were scattered across each page in no apparent order. They were hand written, in red ink and filled up a total of 6 pages. I looked down in confusion as I flipped to the front of the file, which had my full name written in bold in the top right corner. I heard a knock on the door, making me jump as it brought me out of my trance."Come in!" I said to whoever was on the other side.
"Ms. (y/l/n), there's somebody for you at head office." Another girl said to me.
Again?
