Reigen's POV
In the middle of the night I woke up from another nightmare. I didn't scream, I was used to them by now. Right?
I got up to ask [y/n] if I could sleep on the other side of the bed she was sleeping on. So, I obviously went to her room to ask only to find her asleep. As I was about to crawl into the other side I noticed another body next to her. I gasped loudly startling one of the sleeping bodies.
"Reigen?" I heard a sweet, drowsy voice call out. "Yeah," I responded sheepishly. "What happened?" She asked. "I had a nightmare. Can I room with you?" I asked feeling embarrassed once I said it out loud.
She stood up and motioned me to go in. "What about you? And why is he here? Did you guys-" She shushed me and told me to scoot over. I did so and she said that we could talk tomorrow. I realized that she just squished me in between the her and Mob. I felt kinda pathetic having to sleep between two adults after a nightmare, but I fell asleep rather quickly.
I felt a hand lightly shake me. "Reigen get up it's time for-" "ITS TIME FOR SCHOOL! GET UP BEFORE I DRAG YOU OUT!" "Don't be so loud. What about your neighbors?!"
I get up and rubbed my eyes. I yawned, stretched, and went to change. I come out to find the kitchen counter with a plate of toast and jam, and next to it a packed lunch.
"Is this for me?" I asked. "Yep, [y/n] made it so be sure to thank her." Mob responded sipping on his glass of milk. [y/n] came out of her room looking like she was ready to seize the day. "Hey kiddo, glad you're up. Made ya lunch, hope you don't mind that I made you sandwich." She said walking over. "Oh yeah, that's cool, thanks!" I thanked. Though that's not really the lunch Grams packs me, it's the thought that counts. Right?
"Ready to go?" Mob asked. "Yep!" [y/n] and I said in unison.
"You sure you don't want us to walk you all the way there?" [y/n] asked. The three of us now stood in front of Mob's office building. "No, I know the way. Thanks though! See ya!" They both waved be goodbye and went inside.
I was able to make it to school on time. Thank God.
I ran to my class and sat in my seat next to my friend Ebuko, (though I call him Dimple) he has two big red circles on his cheeks which he called "birthmarks". "Yo! How's it going Reigen?" He greeted. "Pretty great actually." I said unpacking my things. "Woah is that a lunch? Like you have actual food in there?" He questioned while pointing at the bag. "Oh, yeah" I looked at the bag and thought of [y/n]. The classroom door slammed open and shook me from my thoughts. "Good morning class, get you books out and open it to page eighty-six." The teacher instructed.
After a whole day of torture, school was finally over. "Hey what are you doing later?" Dimple asked. "Work, you?"
"Nothin', mind if I come along?" Dimple asked. "Alright lets go!"We walked and talked all the way to the office. Just as I reach for the door I hear a, "Hey!" From across the street. "Hey kiddo!" I turned around to find [y/n] jaywalking over to us. "Oh, what's up [y/n]?" I greeted. "Nothing much. Let's go in so you can introduce me to your... friend?" Once she got a good look at him you could tell that she was on edge.
We followed her into the office. I set my stuff down, and sat on the couch. "I'll get some tea ready." [y/n] said as she ruched into the kitchenette. "Who's she?" Dimple asked. "I'm pretty sure she's Shishou's sister." I replied. "Reigen, for the hundredth time, I'm not Shigeo's sister!" We heard her yell. "Ya, I still don't get the relation here." Dimple said as bluntly. [y/n] came out with a tray of tea. "Shige and I were childhood friends. And we just so happen to reconnect after so many years apart." She explained.
