Jennie's POV

The moment I opened my eyes, quite a familiar sight greeted me immediately. Dim white room all over again. I was, once again, in a hospital bed. Limply placed on and unmoving.

But the only thing that I could say first when my parents came rushing towards me with worry and relief evident in their eyes was, "Where's Jisoo?"

"Jisoo?" My mother repeated, tone confused yet calm. Her eyes asked the same question over and over until my heart dropped when she asked, "Sweetie, who's this Jisoo?"

"M-Mom... Jisoo is-."

An abrupt disturbance occurred when a familiar blonde with sensitivity with her bangs ran towards me and engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Unnie!" Lisa cried into my neck as I sat properly in bed and relaxed into her rough embrace. Arms weakly wrapping around her torso.

"L-Lisa..."

"Your finally awake!"

But with all the excitement she could give and I simply enjoyed, all I could really ask was, "Where's Jisoo and Chaeyoung?"

Her face was... bewildered. As if she actually just heard something that doesn't exist anymore. "Wh-Who?"

"Jisoo and Chaeyoung." I repeated. More of clarified it to her.

But once she looked even more confused than before, I exasperatedly sighed and took my chance to get off my bed but was immediately stopped by my parents who pushed me back onto my bed and tucked me in like a child.

"Unnie. I don't know any of those people." Lisa laughed as if what I was saying was a joke but it wasn't! And why was she laughing as if she heard something so funny?

"What?! But-." But all this wasn't a joke at all. This was serious and how could she act so nonchalant?

"Sweetie, calm down." My mother approached me and lightly caressed my hair and face which I know looked really pale and haggard right now.

"But Mom! I swear there's someone named Jisoo who-."

My words were disrupted as five people with white coats entered the room with warm smiles and firm stance. Doctors if you might want to specifically ask. But one familiar face caught my attention as my heavy heart went light again when our eyes met.

"J-Jin..?"

"Nice to meet you, Ms. Kim." He greeted everyone with a bow and so did his colleagues. He approached me slowly and observed my body, not in a creepy way, before his smile brightened even more. "But how you know my name is a bit shocking."

"But your-."

As my words flowed through, my father cut me off worriedly as he stood in front of Jin who could only blink in response. Possibly overwhelmed by the presence of my father. "Doctor. She's been saying weird things ever since she woke up. Is that normal?"

"It is, Mr. Kim." Jin cleared his throat and looked at me wearily then looked at mg father again for assurance. "She has gone through serious surgeries and has been in a coma for a year and a half after all."

That information almost knocked my consciousness out of me when I heard it. Vague flashes of my memory seeped through my head developing a migraine to occur. But I had the strength to ask, "A-A year and a half..?"

My parents faced me and nod their heads in sync. Due to the stress that I've been experiencing from the start, I flopped myself back to bed with the help of Lisa. I closed my eyes by then and relaxed on. But I didn't sleep. I did that way too much already. A year and a half specifically.

Jin and the doctors were now discussing stuff with my parents that I couldn't clearly hear well. But I tried to hear through.

"A few peculiar happenings will occur to Ms. Jennie here due to lack of action - physically and verbally - and long sleep." Jin explained while motioning to me. "We'll discuss this matter later, Mr. and Mrs. Kim."

"Thank you, Doctor Kim." My father patted Jin's shoulder as his posture straighten due to the feeling of pride in his system because of my father's recognition to him.

"Sweetie, we'll buy you food alright?" My mother asked and I could only groan in agreement. I have been starving after all.

As soon as I heard the door close, I shot up from my bed and somehow scared the shit out of Lisa as she stumbled out of her seat and glared at me full force.

But apologies weren't important right now but my question, "You really don't know anyone named Chaeyoung?"

"Never heard of it at all." I sighed and mentioned all of Chaeyoung's alibis and the nicknames given by Lisa herself but all she responded was a head shake. She seemed serious too. "I've never expected you to go drunk-driving, Unnie. Now look where it got you."

Drunk driving?

I looked at her incredulously while she shrugged. I then asked, "What was the color of the car I crashed?"

"Well, black obviously. Your obsessed with that shade." I simply laughed at her answer. It was a fact after all.

"It's a color."

"It's a shade, Unnie."

"Color."

"Shade."

"Color."

"Shade."

"Color!"

"Shade!"

"It's a-."

"Shade actually."

When I was just about to correct the person who cut in into mine and Lisa's argument, my words got stuck in my throat as I recognized the person well. I recognize her way too well. Even if she was in a nurse uniform, she still looked pretty like how can someone have that body portions?

My face lit up and my body automatically pushed off the bed and into her arms I go. She was a bit flustered by my action but had enough strength to recover and steady the two of us together.

"Chaeyoung-ah!"

"Ms. Kim?" She asked, tone innocent and clueless. Just like Lisa's.

I pulled back away from her but not to the point where I'm not hugging her. I looked at her confused as she eyed me with the same tensity.

"Yah Jennie. I know the nurse is hot but what's with the intimacy? Can't get enough of me?" Lisa sure knows how to ruin a moment as she did just now. Not even gonna lie, she is the worse person that could ever interrupt anything at that matter.

"You were never close to enough. But your hot so... I guess so." I shrugged at her offended reaction.

"I hate you." She mumbled under her breath.

"Um..."

"Oh sorry!"

I finally pushed myself off of poor Chaeyoung and sheepishly grinned although I was still confused of what was happening. Everyone didn't know anyone and all I could do was figure out why.

"Uh... yeah. We'll get a bit of blood from you to run some tests and maybe tonight too. But for the rest of the day, you can either sleep of roam around the area of the hospital." Chaeyoung spoke and pushed the trolley of kits beside my bed where I finally sat because my legs were tired.

She still talks so casually, huh?

"Alright. Thanks."

"No need to thank me. It's my job."

"Uh yeah. Of course."

As Lisa was getting bored, she asked again. "So anyways, what was this girl you were talking about? Jaesu? Jihoo?"

"It's Kim Jisoo, you forgetful bum."

The room filled with silence as Chaeyoung abruptly slammed the necessities for the blood taking or whatever and faced me with a look full of question.

"How do you know Jisoo Unnie's name?"
