Chapter 17: We Went to See the King

It had been two hours of searching for the Predacons from the skies. The Autobots were starting to feel a bit anxious from searching for hours in the skies.

"Come on, where are you?" said Wheeljack as he scanned the area below for the Predacons.

"Just be patient Jackie, they'll show up eventually" said Bulkhead.

"You said that like an hour ago already" Smokescreen complained out loud.

"Bulkhead is right, we must be patient. They'll show up eventually," said Bee as he was monitoring for movement from the skies.

Meanwhile, Miko, Jack, and Raf were all fast asleep up against the wall of the cabinet. Miko woke up from her nap and started to rub her tired, sleepy eyes. She then wanted to read more of the girl's diary when she heard some kind of marble sound in the girl's sack bag.

"Oh yeah, I forgot that she has some kind of small bag full of marbles in her little black bag" she said to herself. Curiosity got the better of her as she reached in the sack and brought out the small black bag. She then reached in her backpack to bring out her flashlight to see the contents of the bag better in the dimly lit cabinet.

What she found in the bag astonished her. "No way, how on Earth did she find all of these really, really expensive jewels?" she said to herself as she picked up a sapphire the size of a silver dollar. "This has to be some kind of cheap, glass decorating product," she said while inspecting the gem.

Her eyes widened in awe at the precious stone's beautiful finish as it sparkled in the flashlight's light. She dug deeper in the bag as she discovered thirteen other valuable treasures. The thirteen gems had different shapes and sizes to them as well as what kind of jewels they were. Each one of them had an animal imprint engraved in them.

While Miko was examining the jewels, the bots were still searching for the King of the Predacons as well as his two subjects, Darksteel and Skylynx.

Then all of a sudden, Bee got a huge reading on his device as he called out, "We got something tailing at us, fast!"

"Predacon?" Arcee asked as she went over to where the black and yellow bot was.

"Could be because the reading is huge" he replied to the two-wheeler.

Then a fireball flew past the ship. Wheeljack turned the ship around to face the attacker.

"Woa! I think we found one of them," Bulkhead said as he pointed at the creature that was responsible for the warning shot.

The creature roared before coming at the Autobots' ship. The Predacon was Skylynx. He fired another blast of fire at them.

Wheeljack dodged it in time before saying, "Not the most friendliest of the bunch, eh?"

Bee went to the control panel and pressed on the button to speak to Skylynx. "Skylynx, we mean you no harm. We just want to talk to Predaking," he said as Skylynx just stopped in mid air to look at the Autobots and snarled at them.

"Looks like he doesn't want us around" said Wheeljack.

Bee then continued to speak to the Predacon, "We need your help in finding some bots."

Skylynx still continued to growl at them hatefully.

Bee sighed before saying, "If you help us in finding these individuals, we will give you a reward in gratitude for your help."
