Chapter 19: Progress Report
Once the Autobots landed on the Decepticon's warship, the Autobots and humans came out of the ship in a single file line with the three humans taking up the rear. They entered the laboratory where Ratchet and Knock Out were in a middle of an argument.
"Where in Primus' name are the children!" Rachet yelled at Knock Out.
"I don't know! I went to the rooms that Miko was suppose to clean and she just wasn't there nor anywhere else on this ship!" Knock Out retorted back at Ratchet.
"What about Raf and Jack?" Rachet replied while looking at Knock Out.
Knock Out shrugged in reply.
Ratchet sighed as he face palmed himself in frustration before saying, "Oh for Primus' sake where on Cybertron are they!"
Wheeljack cleared his pipes to get their attention. The two mechs turned to see Bulkhead, Arcee, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, and Bumblebee standing in front of the door.
"Is there a problem, Ratchet?" Bee asked. Arcee looked at him before the black and yellow sports car winked at her to play along.
Knock Out sighed before saying, "We should tell them, Ratchet."
Ratchet nodded in reply before telling Bumblebee, "You see, we can't find the children."
"We looked all over the ship for them" Knock Out stated tiredly.
"Ah huh" Bee said as he rubbed his chin. "Did these children look something like these three?" he asked them as he pointed at the human trio.
Knock Out's jaw dropped when he saw them with the Autobots.
Miko shyly laughed before saying, "Umm, what'd we miss?"
Ratchet breathed a sigh of relief and closed his optics for a few seconds before murmuring, "Thank the Allspark."
Bumblebee had to explain how Miko, Jack, and Raf tagged along with them to the Predacon's territory. Then he went on about the deal they made with the Predacons, purposely skipping the part were Miko almost gotten fried to a crisp.
"They want WHAT!" cried Ratchet and Knock Out simultaneously.
"That they want us to make more of their kind? Then yes, that is exactly what the Preds want" Smokescreen replied to them.
"But how are we even going to find some Predacon fossils, let alone clone them?" Ratchet replied to them.
"Well, that's why we are going to ask Shockwave if he can help us" replied Bee.
"Help you with what exactly?" said a familiar mech
Everyone turned to see Shockwave coming into the room with a box of laboratory equipment.
"I thought that you were too busy to help us, Shockwave," said Smokescreen.
"I finished most of my laboratory experiments already" replied Shockwave.
Smokescreen nodded in reply.
"Anyway, what do you need my assistance for exactly?" he asked the Autobots.
"Well, you see..." Bee said shakily before Arcee had to cut in to finish what he was saying.
"We make a deal with the Predacons for their assistance in helping us track down Starscream and Megatron," she said.
"Oh, what was the pact you made with my creations?" Shockwave replied in interest to what the Autobots and Predacons agreed to.
"They agreed to help us if we can clone a small colony of their species in return for their help" said Raf as he looked up at the dark purple mech.
