I just want you guys to know that I thank you for your support on this fanfiction story for my personal favorite Transformers series. I honestly didn't expect that I would have so many viewers in just a couple of months. Also fyi I am going to make another Transformers Prime story soon when I have the time. It will be about Megatronus and how he becomes the infamous leader of the Decepticons. So I'm probably going to put this story on pause for a short while so that you guys don't get confused latter on in this story. I will still be posting chapters in this story line, but it will probably going to be a bit longer to post a new chapter then usual so bear with me. Any way enough chit chant and let's get on with the story.
Chapter 20: Seeking the Seeker
It had been nearly an hour of searching in the skies for the Decepticon Starscream. Skylynx was taking the lead while Darksteel was lagging behind.
Darksteel sighed and asked Skylynx in their language, "Are we there yet?"
Skylynx rolled his optics as he replied to the tired Ursagryph, "Just be patient, we're almost there."
Darksteel nodded in reply.
The two Preds flew for a couple more minutes before Darksteel said, "How about now?"
"No, not there just yet" replied Skylynx with a bit of annoyance in his voice.
A few seconds later, Darksteel opened his beak and asked, "How about now?"
"No" replied Skylynx a little bit more perplexed by Darksteel's childish behavior.
"What about now?" Darksteel said again.
"NO" replied Skylynx as his optics narrowed in anger.
"And now?" Darksteel said with a grin at seeing Skylynx about to snap at him.
Skylynx stopped flying forward to turn around, snarled at his companion, and yelled, "Will you stop asking me that!"
Darksteel looked at him innocently as he replied, "What, I'm bored. What am I supposed to do?"
"How about shut up, and keep flying" replied the ill-tempered dragon.
Darksteel pouted as he continued to follow Skylynx's lead. Forty five minutes had gone by for the Predacons, their wings were starting to cramp up so they decided to just walk the rest of the way. They landed in a nearby forest that wasn't very far away from the spot where they last saw Starscream.
The two transformed in their robotic form to stretch out their tired cramped up wiring.
"Ah, that feels soo much better!" said Darksteel as he cracked his neck.
Skylynx nodded in reply before saying, "Come, we mustn't dawdle. We have to find Starscream."
Darksteel laughed evilly before saying, "Won't he be surprised at our return to torture him again."
Skylynx smirked as he replied, "Yes, indeed brother, but we are to bring him back alive."
Darksteel smirked evilly as he said, "But the Autobots didn't say that we can't leave a few scorch marks on him."
Skylynx laughed as he said, "We will see" before starting to track Starscream's tracks.
The two walked for a while before they noticed a small shop in a clearing by a road leading towards the city.
Darksteel looked at his Predacon brother and asked, "You think that he's in there?"
Skylynx nodded before he said, "This is where his tracks end, so this must be the right place."
