Shaylee jumped through her bedroom window, landing swiftly and quickly on her toes.
She dressed into the clothes she wore before she left her home: black jeans and a white long sleeve top in which she threw a black winter coat on top of.
She walked downstairs to her siblings who were either watching television or reading."Why are you in such a good mood?" Rebekah scoffed, "You locked yourself in your room for 3 hours."
Shaylee dropped her suspicious grin. "What? It's a crime to be happy?" She sassed back.
"I swear you're, what's it called, moody?" Rebekah said, turning the page to her book.
"Where are you going?" Elijah said, noticing his sister opening the front door.
"Shopping with my human friends. Being normal... like you said." The youngest Mikaelson explained.
"Well aren't you popular," Klaus remarked.
"As long as you do not enter Quileute land then be my guest,'' Elijah mumbled.
"I want to come with you." Rebekah declared, dropping her book on the stool beside the sofa.
"Be my gue-" Shaylee opened the door only to be taken by surprise. Three men in tank tops and shorts with matching tattoos on their shoulders stood before her, all with shares serious expressions. "Hello." She said awkwardly. "How may we assist you?"
"He was right... there are new bloodsuckers in town." The shorter one on the left scoffed.
"Evening, my name is Sam Uley. This is Paul and Jared." The tallest one of the three introduced. "I believe we should have a chat."
"By all means, come in! We love meeting the people in town." Elijah smiled, standing up from the sofa.
"But brother," Rebekah said, nearly taking defence position, "they're wolves!"
"...even better." Elijah smiled even brighter at the three. "I am Elijah Mikaelson. This is my brother, Niklaus, and my sisters, Rebekah and Shaylee."
The three who reeked of mutt walked in and looked about the first floor of the house. "Please, make yourselves at home. What brings you to our humble abode?" Elijah asked, sitting on the sofa and sipping his cup of animal blood.
"There was a vampire on Quileute land. We heard about the newcomers so we assumed it was you. I am not sure if you are aware of the treaty bu-" Sam was cut off my Klaus.
"Oh, we are well aware of your treaty with the Cullen family," Niklaus said, sipping from his blood as well. "No vampires on your land or you'll expose us as the blood-sucking demons we are." His voice was quiet and seemingly playful, but still that deadly flare still in his words. "Thing is, mate, we didn't do what you're about to accuse us of."
