Another day of school went by in a blink of an eye. Like always, after school, Shaylee stood at Tyler's damaged van with her friends while Shaylee waited for Rebekah to pick her up.

Elijah and Niklaus searched beyond the Canadian border for the intruders while Rebekah and Shaylee stayed in Forks full time in case the intruders were to come back. The Mikaelson girls had the Cullen's on their side whilst in Forks. The respect was mutual, but they wouldn't consider each other friends despite Romeo and Juliet that were stuck in the middle of it all. Shaylee's siblings were yet to discover the hidden relationship.

Michael joined her, his arm wrapped around her shoulder as they shared a couple of laughs with her human friends. Michael and Shaylee turned around at the same time at an odd sound that caught both of their attention. Bella walked confidently into the woods near the school and Edward followed 10 feet behind her.

Shaylee furrowed her eyebrow to her mate and he shrugged his shoulders. At that moment, Rebekah pulled up beside them and beeped the horn causing everyone to jump.

"Goddammit, Rebekah. What's your problem?" Shaylee argued at Rebekah and Rebekah just scoffed. Michael removed his arm and rubbed her shoulder, smiling a farewell. The Cullen's, who were parked a few cars down from Tyler's, stared at Rebekah. It wasn't a hateful glare, nor a fearful one.

"Holy crap, her sisters hot," Tyler whispered to the group, thinking that the surrounding vampires couldn't hear their quiet fanboy moment over Rebekah.

"Get in, now!" Rebekah demanded. Shaylee waved to her friends and got into Rebekah's car. "Hello, Michael." She teased. Michael smirked at her and waved before turning on his heel to head back to his siblings.

"The whole family is." Jessica scoffed, rolling her eyes and her friends giggled at her resentment. "Her older brothers, easy ten out ten."

She groaned as she opened up the door to her car and slumped in the front seat of her sisters BMW. She glared at her sister as sped off out of the parking lot.

"So... you and Cullen." Rebekah grinned at her sister and raised an eyebrow.

"What about him?" Shaylee mumbled, looking out the window to avoid her sister's ridiculous faces she was pulling to make her younger sister laugh.

"You're together!" She giggled, "and you never told me!"

"Wha- uh." Shaylee stuttered, "you're insane. Never. He's only a friend.'' Shaylee was many things, but a good liar wasn't one of them.

Rebekah rolled her eyes, knowing too well that she was lying. "So he just puts his arm around you in such a protective manner, looks at you like you're the only girl in the world, smiles at you like he truly loves you... I can keep going on."

"You're daft!" Shaylee gasped.

"Am not!" Rebekah argued.

Shaylee knew she wouldn't win this argument. All she could do was beg. "Rebekah, don't let Nik and Elijah kn-"
