Damian stood staring at Hadrian. 'Merlin, he looks just like dad' he thought to himself. Although he had only seen his dad looking as angry as Hadrian did right now, only a couple of times in his life. He opened his mouth to answer Hadrian.
"Um...Hi Hadrian...I'm Damian."
Hadrian raised his eyebrows at Damian and replied in a cold tone.
"That's supposed to mean something to me?"
Damian blushed. Of course, his parents had taken eleven years to tell Damian and Aeris about Hadrian, they were not going to tell Hadrian about Damian and Aeris in only one week.
"Sorry, well I guess there isn't any other way to tell you this so...um...l'm Damian Potter, your...your brother." Damian finished lamely.
Damian wished he had thought this through. He had planned the entire 'coming to headquarters' part of the plan but had not spared a thought as to what he was actually going to say to Hadrian.
Damian watched as his revelation caused a look of genuine shock to appear in Hadrian's eyes. It was only for a moment though as Hadrian quickly realized the look of shock then rearranged them to hide it.
The door then opened freezing Damian to the spot. Who only then breathed a sigh of relief seeing it was Marcus. But like a kid seeing his dream people he jumped on all his questions for the pair.
It only ended when the two laughed "Harry I think we got an admirer" he sniggered. "Who is this kid?"
"Apparently the Potter's had more kids."
"So a brother then?" Marcus asked.
"Yes I am Damian Potter the seco- third eldest," he then saw the two oldest looking at him almost scanning. He had curly black hair but when the light lands on it his hair turns red. His eyes were like Micheal's hazel but lighter in color with a hint of green. "So back when you were-"
"Gee kid calm down. You're quite wild one."
"Well Michael never lets us ask questions to him. He just pushes us out of the way, not even aloud to talk." Damian looked down realizing he spoke that and missed the look from the other two.
"What are you even doing here?" Hadrian asked
"I wanted to meet you, dad said you weren't really talking to them and it wasn't good introducing Aeris and I to you before Hogwarts."
Both boys looked at Damian for a second, Hadrian was shocked to see that someone actually cared to come see him. He was still healing but still he could tell the boy wasn't lying. Though now Hadrian had to rethink the Potters.
"So they thought it would be better to tell me I have other siblings that aren't an arrogant prat, till I got to Hogwarts?"
Damian didn't like how that sounded but knew there was no changing that thought. The two boys both calculating what to do next. Then Marcus broke out into a grin and Hadrian rolled his eyes, it was fascinating for Damian it was like they talked to each other.
"Are you up for a game?"
The next hour was the best for Damian, they taught him how to play a few different card games, all with Hadrian's mark. The Joker. He also had fun just spending time with his older brother. He has never been able to do anything with Micheal, he wanted nothing to do with them. But Hadrian actually cared, he wasn't one to think people are less then him. Well for the most part.
Now they were on Hadrian's bed still Damian was rolling around laughing listening to the stories of Hadrian and Marcus when they were young. And various other things. Damian asked about things being a fan, it was funny because they liked the attention for what they did.
Damian after awhile of enjoying their stories got the nerve to ask a question he knew Hadrian wouldn't like it.
"Harry," Finding it nice to have a nickname with his older brother. "What happened when you were younger? Before you started at the school?"
Hadrian looked over to his younger brother then to Marcus. 'Should I' he sent to Marcus 'I think you school.'
He nodded then turned to Damian "okay well its not pretty......
Damian sat listening to Hadrian tell his story of his childhood. As he told it Damian couldn't help the tears that fell. Marcus watched with watery eyes hatting the life Hadrian was force to live.
By the time Hadrian told Damian he was tiered. Never actually told the whole thing before other than his father and Marcus. Looking down once he finished and was surprised to get bombarded by Damian who smothered Hadrian. At first Hadrian tensed up not really use to get a hug. Then he rapped his arms around his brother and did something he truly wasn't use to. Cry. Marcus sat back proud someone got Hadrian to fully open up.
"I think he fell a sleep." Hadrian commented to Marcus.
"Must have been tiered. He let everything out." Marcus agreed with him looking at the young boy they just meet and learned all the hard ships the younger Potters had. But not to much as Hadrian.
"Bottled it up like I did. Even though I told you it was different with him."
"Simple he is your brother no matter what."
"I guess, what are we going to do now."
"Plan C then."
"More like plan G." They both fell into fists of laughter. Soon they feel into a comfortable silence as Hadrian picked up his book and Marcus was doing whatever he does while boredom hits.
It was well over an hour, Damian was still a sleep curled up on the bed under a fleece blanket. Marcus was cleaning his weapons, which he summoned. Hadrian was sprawled over a conjured leather seat, reading his book about Necromancy and the Dead Language.
The quietness of the room was interrupted by frantic shouting and then the door to the room was slammed opened. A disheveled Alestor Moody and a worried Kingsley Shackebolt stood in the door, looking from Damian to Hadrian.
