It's saturday.
My first week in the university is tiring. I don't have any friend until now. Most of my classmates are talking to me but, I don't feel any of them the comfortableness that I can feel when I'm with Maza and Jodie. How I miss them? Kumusta na kaya sila in New Zealand?
And speaking of... OMG! Maza is calling me.
"Hi maza! I miss you so much. I wish you there are here" with sad face. Thinking that Maza can see my face.
"Hey! We miss you too. We have a surprise for you"
"What is it?!" It's irritating. They will tell you tapos di naman pala sasabihin. Sana di na lang sinabi. But that's the everyday Maza, I will have an anxiety because of that.
"It's a surprise duh. We will tell you on monday"
"Why not now?! You're giving me anxiety grrr"
"hahaha that's the plan. I'm sorry bye" she ended the call and the last thing I heard is her laugh. My gosh. Now, tell me why I befriend Maza?
It's weekend and there's no assignment or we don't have anything to study. Where to go? Hmmm maybe I will just roam around here in BGC to familiarize the places and to go shopping. Yes, that's my stress reliever.
I jumped out of bed and go to the bathroom to take a shower.
I will just wear maong shorts, crop top jacket and chuck taylor. I put light make up and ponytail my hair. I also bring my Gucci sling bag that I bought last week with Maza and Jodie.
Diana's POV
"Okay team. See you next saturday"
We just finished our training for our upcoming games. Sobrang nakakapagod kasi sobrang strict ni coach because the game is near.
I just want to go home to take some rest.
Wearing my Nike spandex and Nike tank top, umalis na ako sa gym.
Oh, before I forgot, I will go to Starbucks to buy blueberry cheesecake for mommy and chon. Yes, that's their favorite. By the way, Chon is 3yrs old and my brother's son. I love him so much.
As I enter the Starbucks, there's this girl from my class walking towards me parang hindi nakikita ang paligid while talking to the phone. I stared at her. She's wearing a maong shorts and I can see her long creamy legs. She's pretty! Her eyes, her lips, her face. She's like a doll. What the hell Diana? You're not pervert.
Until she bumped me and spilled the coffee of my shirt.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't see you! I'm sorry I spilled my coffee on your shirt" She's super nervous at mukha na siyang iiyak. Ang cute and her accent omg it's so hot kahit na naiiyak na siya.
"It's okay. I have a spare shirt on my compartment"
"What will I do to pay you?"
"No, it's okay"
"No, I will treat you next time. Please let me. My conscience is killing me. Again, I'm sorry, Diana. I'm in hurry kasi because my sister said that she's coming here in the Philippines today" ang cute talaga ng tagalog accent niya parang ang sarap niyang iuwi.
"Okay we're classmates naman eh" Kawawa naman siya e nakokonsenys daw kaya pagbigyan na natin.
"Okay thank you and sorry again! Bye see you around"
"Okay bye"
"I will order one whole blueberry cheesecake"
Franki's POV
While I'm roaming around, I found a Starbucks and I super love coffee. Like if you choose me over things, I will always choose coffee. Coffee is life. And so, I went inside to buy my favorite drink.
*Sophia calling*
"Hi sister! Why are you calling?"
"I'm arriving at NAIA 3 in 1 hour. Come here and fetch me"
"OMG! why you didn't tell me before? Why now?" She is always like this. She will surprise me, and she will ask me to do things like she's the boss.
"I guess...surprise?" Unbelievable!
"Ok I will go there just wait for me because you know it's traffic here in the Philippines. If you just tell me earlier--"
"Okay thank you. bye loves" And now she just cut me off? WOW I really really love my sister.
"Ok bye grr—- Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't see you! I'm sorry I spilled my coffee on your shirt " It's Diana! my classmate in Speech.
""It's okay. I have a spare shirt on my compartment" she's so cold as usual
"What will I do to pay you?"
"No, it's okay" it's embarrassing maybe I should treat her to compensate? yes that's right.
"No, I will treat you next time. Please let me. My conscience is killing me. Again, I'm sorry, Diana. I'm in hurry kasi because my sister said that she's coming here in the Philippines today"
"Okay we're classmates naman eh" Yes finally! She agreed. She's mabait naman pala eh.
"Okay thank you and sorry again! Bye see you around"
"Okay bye" cold as ice
I booked a car and went to the airport to fetch ate Sophia
"Why you just tell me now that you're coming here?"
"I told you, It's a surprise. And I will surprise mom later, too. I'm so excited"
"Okay let's go home. I will just book a car"
This day is so exhausting and it's just 4 pm for fuck's sake.
We arrived at our house and we saw mom watering the plants. She really loves gardening.
"Mooom!!!" You know who that is, no other than ate Sophia.
"Sophia?! What are you doing here?"
"I will just take a 2 weeks' vacation because I miss you both so much. Group hug!!!" She's super energetic. She looks like she didn't have any jetlag from her 28 hrs. flight.
