Natasha Romanoff, the said most introverted person in their university, walked down the hallway with her books tucked in close to her chest while her head's down.
She only had one friend before because she's homeschooled for six years because of her sickly body. Her height is average but her body is much smaller than average. But after stepping in high school, she grew curves making her sickly body unrecognizable. She's very pale too. Well, she's Russian so...
Though her parents decided that it's best to let her out of her shell. She's already a teenager and she needs to enjoy while it last.
So this is Natasha now. Still no friends and is trying her best to avoid the popular cliques in her school but with her title of being an introvert, its unavoidable.
"Hey, Romanoff..."
She stopped dead on her tracks as she stared at the person's stilettos in front of her.
She gulped and stepped back cowardly. Her nervousness making her legs weaker than it already is.
Just like what she's always afraid off, her legs gave in after a few seconds making her fall on her bum. Her books was scattered around her.
She shuts her eyes when she heard laughter surrounding her.
"How pathetic. She's already 16 but still a weakling." Charmie, one of the most popular mean girls in the university, spoke.
"Enough, Charmie..." A familiar voice she had missed was heard, stopping all the noises around them.
"Awww, Stevie... We are just having fun with this loser, nothing so serious. " She smirked and rolled her eyes.
The guy didn't respond and just unexpectedly kneeled down in front of Natasha. Finally, after a few years of ignoring each other, she had finally studied her grown face.
Steve Rogers. Her best and only friend. Her protector. Her long time crush. Is kneeling in front of her right now. Wearing his most charming smile that always brightens her day.
He is one of the popular students too. He's the quarter back in their football team that's why he has a well fitted body. He's also outstanding when it comes to his academics. Not to mention a complete gentleman.
Steve's lips moved but she can't seem to hear what he's saying. She's just too mesmerized with his beautiful baby blue orbs.
"Hey. Little red?" The nickname snapped her back into reality.
"Huh? What?" She asked confused. She can literally feel her face heating up in embarrassment.
"I was asking if you're alright." He chuckled.
She looked down and nodded slowly.
"I am..."
He nodded and opened his arms.
"Come. I'll carry you." He said nicely.
Steve is one of the people she has always cherished. But she pushed him away. Because of an unreasonable explanation. But even so, he respected her wishes. One of the many thing she liked about him.
"Y-You don't have to, S-Steve..." She blushed. "I can walk by myself."
Steve smiled and gently pats her head.
"You're always a bad liar, my little red head. I know you can't properly walk right now because your legs just gave in. Come here." He slowly placed his strong arms under the back of her knees and on her back as gently as possible and lifted her up.
The action made Natasha gasp and gripped on his shirt as heat came creeping back on her face again.
"No no no... He's carrying me. In front of everyone!" She panicked in her mind.
