The past few days have been certainly interesting, to say the least. Ha! You thought. They were as boring and tension-filled as ever.
We were supposed to be relaxing, having fun and just overall enjoying our little break to ourselves and instead of doing so, we were all anxious and dreading the day that was soon to come. Our days were usually filled with silence since no one could really find it in themselves to talk about something other than what was burdening all of us. The only time we'd 'talk' would be when we'd ask each other what we wanted for dinner or lunch, or when one of us left the dorm so we'd know where they were headed off to in case of an emergency.
We decided to take a little break from social media seeing that it was the best not to point to ourselves. For that reason, we've also avoided being seen in public together so we didn't hang out, outside of the safety provided to us by the walls of the dormitory.
Generally, we've spent our time watching movies or binge-watching TV shows since it proved to be a great distraction from reality.
I, as usual, settled on watching Disney movies since they all had a happy ending. Since the night, or should I say morning, on the roof the other day, I decided I won't have my life ruled by some dickhead looking for amusement in his boring life and that I would create a happy ending of my own and defeat the evil villains in my life, no matter how many times they'd come at me.
Jisoo unnie would usually join me and we'd watch together while Jennie unnie and Lisa would be in their rooms watching some shows on Netflix. Sometimes they would join our little fairy tail session and other times they wouldn't. I guess it all came down to how many times we've watched the movie that was playing on the screen. If they've seen it more than ten times, they wouldn't join us and just do their own thing. That would be the case most of the time though since I and Jisoo unnie were practically obsessed with Disney movies and they were playing pretty much 24/7. If you ever came for a surprise visit the chances of a Disney movie playing were pretty high.
As far as I was concerned, Lisa and Jennie were watching this show, I think it was called Riverdale to distract their minds. I tried getting into it before but only got through the first season because from then on it went downhill. Whenever I asked Lisa or Jennie why they were still watching it, respectfully of course, they just said that they found it funny how stupid it could get at times and they really shipped Cheryl and Toni. And that the storyline wasn't that bad either. It just could get 'hella' cringey at times.
Today was a day like any other. I and Jisoo had our bodies spread out on the sofa while watching Aladdin but this time Lisa was joining us since she was a huge cat lover and couldn't resist looking at Rajah. I was laying on her chest while she played with my hair, only paying attention whenever something interesting to her happened or the said tiger made an appearance.
Once the movie ended we all got up and I headed for the door since the bell rang signaling our food has arrived. We haven't cooked for ourselves in the past few days and only ordered take out. We were fully aware it wasn't the healthiest way to go but we were all just too lazy to cook. Besides our minds have been too preoccupied and playing with fire on the stove was a risk none of us wanted to take. Take out was really the safest option. Well unless Lisa tried to steal Jisoo unnie's chicken and got threatened that she'd get stabbed in the eye with a chopstick if she didn't stop making heart eyes at her chicken.
I took the food out of the man's hands, handing him the money and brought it over to the dining table so we could have our lunch. I called Jisoo unnie who was still in the living room and ordered Lisa to go call Jennie unnie from her room, without pissing her off. I've quickly learned that next time I should just call her myself when Jennie emerged from her room with a satisfied smile and Lisa rubbing her arm.
