Natsu POV
'Gosh why did Happy have to wake up so early!!' He thought. I walked to my closet and grabbed my usual clothes and got dressed. After that I walked down stairs to meet Happy at the door as we walked outside. I smelled the air and noticed a weird scent I have never smelled before. Of course I didn't really mind it I just figured it was a new family or a new person coming to the guild. Boy was i wrong! I walked into the guild hall and saw everybody doing their usual routines. Gray was naked with only boxers on,Erza was yelling at him about it, Lucy was at the bar with Mira and Elfman was talking about how manly he was. I heard footsteps behind me as I walked to a table to sit down. I turned around and I saw.."Oh it's you" I mumbled.
"Idiot" He mumbled. "Stop following me weirdo" Natsu said angrily. "Nah I think I'll stay until you decide to man up and fight me again! I want a rematch I underestimated you last time Salamander!" Of course Natsu wasn't going to turn this down but he wanted to do a mission plus he had to fight Erza later this week for their rematch. "Not now iron face! I'm busy!" He yelled. "Fine until you face me I'll be keeping my name as the strongest dragon slayer!" Gajeel replied. This really pissed Natsu off because be knew from their last battle that he was obviously stronger but he ignored Gajeel and went to look for a mission. 'This look fun!' He thought to himself. "Natsu, aren't you gonna tell the others you found a good mission?" Natsu heard Happy say. "I wanna go alone this time it's been a while since I went on a mission by myself" Natsu replied. "Okay have fun!" Happy said."You know it little buddy! And watch after the guild for me!" "Aye!" Happy said back.
Natsu soon left the guild on his way to his first mission of this week. He was excited since he never gets to go on missions by himself,but little did he know he wouldn't be alone. The guild master told Gray to watch over Natsu because he noticed some weird things going on. Weirder than Natsu's usual doce of weirdness. When Natsu was near where his mission was going to be he started to get a little light headed. He had no idea what had happened since nobody was around to put any spells on him or even attack him. He ignored it and kept going on his way to the person who the mission was for. Once he got there he got light headed again, but this time he was sweaty and felt dizzy. He calmed himself down and talked to the person who was paying for the mission. He soon left to start the job he was so excited to do, but about halfway there he almost fainted! Luckily Gray was nearby and caught Natsu before he fell over. "Gray?! What the heck are you doing here?!" Natsu yelled. "Chill flame brain gramps sent me to look after you for some reason". Natsu was confused, gramps knew he could handle himself on a simple mission like this, so why would he send Gray to watch over him? 'Of all people! Why Gray?!' He thought to himself. "Why did you nearly faint? Are you okay?" Gray asked him. "Of course I am idiot! I don't need help I can take care of myself!" He said as he pulled away and tried to walk away from Gray. As he started walking Gray followed but he didn't bother to stop him because he wasn't in the mood to argue with Gray. They both just walked down a small path and Natsu spotted the people he was hired to catch and bring back. "Stay here and don't help me! I can do this myself!" Obbiously Gray knew be could handle a few thiefs on his own but he was still confused as to why Natsu was sweating and looked kinda pale. He stood leaning on a tree and watched Natsu attempt to catch them. Natsu caught one of them but the other one came up behind him but Natsu punched him down. But soon after Natsu felt really weak all of a sudden even though he hadn't even used much of his magic. He ignored this strange feeling and carried the two men back to the old man's house and took the money in exchange. On the way back to the guild Natsu felt tired so he decided to go home instead. "You gonna follow me home too Ice princess?" He asked Gray. "If I feel like I have to I will flame brain" He replied. "Tch..whatever let's go I guess.." Natsu mumbled. 'Why is he so clingy all of a sudden! But..if I'm being haunest I really didn't mind deep down for some reason.' Soon they arrived at Natsu's house and went inside. "I'm gonna shower and change, how long are you staying?" "Probable for the night I guess my house is pretty empty with just me" he replied. "Okay I'll grab some clothes, and actually keep them on ice princess" Natsu said. "Yeah, yeah..whatever fire breath..tch" Gray didn't like when Natsu called him an ice princess. Then Natsu took off his vest showing his whole upper body and Gray blushed a little bit. 'What the hell is wrong with me?! This isn't the first time I saw him without his vest on!' Gray thought to himself. "I'm gonna go in the bathroom you change out here Gray" "K" he said.
After they both got dressed
"I'm bored what bout you" Gray said. "Yeah same what do you wanna do" Natsu answered. "Let's just say some stuff we wanted to say to eachother I guess" Gray said. "U-uhm..Sure! You go first" Natsu said kinda nervously. "Uh..I don't uh..hate you as much as I say.." Gray said hesitantly. 'He doesn't hate me either?!' Natsu thought. "Okay uh..I don't hate you either and i wouldn't mind us actually being close friends..I guess" He said sorta quiet. "Okay uh..I think you're actually really strong and cool and not a fire breath lizard boy..." Gray said right after. "I uh..I..L...w-wouldn't mind admitting that we are of equal strength.." Natsu said next. 'What was he about to say before that..?' Grat thought.
After a few more rounds they finally got to the part where they both wanted to confess their true feelings! "H-hey uh..Natsu..?" Gray stuttered. "Yeah what's up Gray?" "Can I do something and promise you won't burn my head to a crisp..?" Gray said. "Okay, I promise. Go ahead what is it?" Natsu answered and blushing kind of hoping Gray would kiss him or something like a hug. Gray moved closer to Natsu and gently grabbed his face and pulled it closer to his. Then he leaned in and kissed Natsu. "Mmf-!" Natsu was completely surprised even though he wanted this he didn't actually think Gray would kiss him. Without hesitation he kissed back. Gray pushed him on the ground and pinned Natsu's hands above his head and continued kissing him. He licked Natsu's bottom lip asking for entrance but Natsu didn't let him because he never did something like this before and hesitated a little. Gray then put his right hand on Natsu's chest causing him to gasp. Then he slipped his tongue into Natsu's mouth and explored every part. Gray then started to move down to Natsu's neck leaving light kisses all down his neck.
"Hah..haah...Gray..~" Gray started to move down to get more moans from Natsu. Those moans were the best sound ever to Gray and he wanted to make Natsu get louder and to scream his name tonight. Gray moved down until he reached the top of Natsu's pants and stopped.
