Nobody POV
The next morning Natsu had gotten up about an hour before Gray and was currently making him a beautiful breakfast. He always did this on Christmas since they started dating which was 4 years ago and he didn't plan on stopping his little "tradition" that he created for them.
Gray POV
I woke up smelling food coming from the kitchen. "He's up early.." I mumbled sitting up, stretching, then getting up. I walked over to the kitchen and wrapped my arms around his waist. "G'morning babe" I mumbled leaning my head on his shoulder. I could see him blush a little even from here then I heard him say a quick, "Morning" then continue cooking. I kissed his cheek and let him finish as I walked over to the fridge.
Nobody POV
"Anything specific you wanna do today?" Natsu asked why making their plates. "No, not really..whatever you wanna do is fine" Gray answered pouring them both a cup of orange juice and helping Natsu set the table. "Well, I have to do one more thing today then we can hang out all day if you want." They both sat down and started eating. "What do you have to go do?" Gray asked. "Nothing much just gotta run to the store for something then I'll come right back" Natsu said looking at Gray. "Make sure you're ready by the time I get back Gray, I mean it" Natsu glare knowing Gray was still probably gonna be just taking a shower by the time he got back. He started eating his food waiting for Gray's response. "Yeah yeah I know. I'll be ready" Gray said as they both finished their food. He was about to get up to wash the dishes when Natsu grabbed his plate first. "You know what, just get dressed now I should be back within an hour or so anyways. No need in waiting 10 minutes before I get home to get dressed" Natsu said walking to the kitchen and doing the dishes. He glanced over his shoulder and saw Gray just staring at him. "What're you looking at?" He said with a confused look on his face. "Nice a-" Natsu blushed, his whole face turning red. "Shut up! Go get dressed dammit!" He yelled tempted to throw a cup at Gray. Gray laughed and got up, heading towards the bathroom to take a shower. Natsu finished the dishes quickly so by the time Gray finished his shower he had already left.
Natsu POV
I walked into the store and started looking around for the perfect outfit for tonight/today. I wanna wear this all day so I should pick something comfortable, besides what I already have on.(He's wearing sweatpants with a white shirt and a hoodie) I looked over and saw a cropped hoodie and hurried over to get a closer look. "This would look really good with some ripped jeans..and maybe some boots..?" I thought as I grabbed the hoodie then started looking for the jeans and boots.
15 minutes later
I didn't find the jeans but I found some black sweatpants which I thought looked good. I bought the pants and hoodie and then headed to the shoe store and got the boots I wanted. "Now I gotta change when I get home, I'm sure Gray is ready by now" I put everything in a bag and started heading home.
Gray POV
I finished my shower and came out. "Natsu?" I called him but he didn't answer so I figured he must've left already. I walked over into the room and changed into a light blue shirt with some black pants with a black jacket and blue shoes. I sat on the couch and watched tv while waiting for Natsu to come home.
Nobody POV
Natsu walked up the stairs to their apartment on the third floor and grabbed his keys from his pocket. He opened the door to see Gray on the couch watching and movie. "I'm home!" Natsu yelled while closing the door. "Welcome home" Gray said turning the movie off. Natsu walked over and gave Gray a quick kiss. "Can we go now?" Gray asked clearly getting bored of sitting in here by himself for so long. "Not yet I have to change" Natsu said waving his bag up as he smiled. He didn't let Gray respond and ran in the room to change.
After Changing Because I'm ✨Lazy✨
Natsu opened the door to reveal a pink cropped hoodie, black sweatpants that kinda hugged him and come black and pink boots. "Well?" Gray looked up and blushed. "You look good, I like it" Gray said walking over and smiling. Natsu smiled back and hugged him. Gray did the same then wrapped his arms around Natsu's waist, Natsu's arms around his neck. "You know.." Gray snickered already knowing Natsu's reaction to this. "Your outfit really outlines your curves, Merry Christmas to me then.."
Natsu blushed and hid his face in Gray's chest. "Shut upppp! Let's just go already you're embarrassing me!" He said trying to pull away but Gray wouldn't let him go. "But why? I wanna stay here now and enjoy the view. Nap later?" Natsu shook his head. "Nooo! Let's go see a movie or sit in the park today. I don't wanna stay in here and take naps all day!" Gray looked a little sad. "What's wrong with just staying in and taking a nap with your boyfriend?" "I never said there was anything wrong with it I just don't want to today" Gray laughed and let Natsu go watching him almost fall. "Okay, let's go" he said watching Natsu's face light up with joy.
They left the apartment and spend the day at the park. They also went and saw a movie then came back to the park and ate ice cream while telling each other stories from when they were younger.
Later that night...
Natsu and Gray were holding hands as they walked back to their apartment. "Ready to open gifts now?" Natsu said as they walked inside and sat on the couch together. "My present isn't here so I'll open yours first" Natsu was confused but ignored it and went to grab the cake and painting which were both kinda wrapped up, enough so Gray would have to unwrap them to see what they are.
Gray took the painting first and unwrapped it. He looked at it in amazement and smiled. "Wow...this looks amazing Natsu. I love it thank you" he hugged Natsu tightly and smiled more then went to unwrap the cake. "Merry Christmas Gray" Natsu said as Gray also read what the cake said. "I love you" Natsu said kissing Gray's cheek as he watched Gray try and think of the words to say. "I love you too Natsu, thank you so much for these gifts." "Of course! I wanted to do something special for you although I had some help..I'm so glad you like it though!"
Gray smiled and grabbed Natsu's hand. "We'll eat the cake when we get back." Natsu was confused then he felt gray pulling him towards the door. "Wait where are we going? We just got home" "My present isn't here remember? We gotta go there for you do get it" Gray pulled Natsu away heading towards the same place where he confessed. It was a small field with flowers that was high up on a hill. It was the perfect place to do this. Gray let Natsu go and watched as he looked around at the beautiful flowers. "This is- Gray?" He turned around to see Gray pointing up and there was snow magically starting to fall. Natsu loved the snow so this was a dream come true. "Wow..."
"Natsu" Natsu turned around hearing his name and was really shocked at what he saw. Gray was on one knee with a box that had a beautiful diamond ring in it. Natsu had a shocked face and just covered his mouth feeling speechless. Gray was obviously hesitant but he tried his best to keep his cool and kept going. "It's been 4 amazing years that we have gotten to spend together. I loved every minute of it, good and the bad. I love you with all my heart. I love your smile, your hair, your skin, your laugh, the way your face scrunches up when you're annoyed at something. I love how you always look after me even when I'm not easy to be around. I don't ever wanna lose you because you mean so much more to me than you could ever imagine..so.." He looked up at Natsu and saw tears in his eyes. "Will you marry me?"
Natsu was shocked but happy, happier than he's been in a while. When he heard that question he didn't hesitate for a second and jumped into Gray's arms. "Yes yes yes!" Gray was overflowed with joy hearing Natsu say those words. He was sure Natsu loved him but he had his doubts on if Natsu was ready to marry him yet. "I love you Natsu..." "I love you too Gray.." they both enjoyed the rest of the night together..
