It was now the day of the weeding and Gray was standing there waiting for Natsu to be walked down. Natsu was a little sad at first since his father wasn't there to walk him down the isle but Makarov was there to fill in his place so it all worked out. As Gray stood a few moments which felt like hours to him passed then there was suddenly soft music playing.
All the guests turned around to see the doors open and in came Natsu in the most beautiful white suit Gray had ever seen. "Wow.." he thought to himself as he watched his soon to be husband walking towards him with Makarov at his arm the entire way. When they reached the stands Natsu joined Gray with a light blush on his face as they made eye contact. They said their vows and sealed it with a soft but long kiss as the guests all cheered feeling extremely happy for the newly married couple.
After the ceremony they had a nice dinner which was planned by Lucy and Erza along with Carla's help of course. They all sat down at the long table with Natsu and Gray sitting beside each other in the center on one side.
They laughed and talked about the future together. This was the best day of their lives, for sure. Gray couldn't help but look over at Natsu as he smiled and laughed at the corny jokes the guild members would say to him about how Gray probably acts as a husband. "You two were always like a married couple, especially when you fought with each other" said Erza as she munched on a neatly cut piece of cake. "I guess so..now we'll actually be a married couple, right Natsu?" Gray said looking over at his husband.
Natsu smiled and laughed along with everyone at that statement. Soon everyone started to calm down. Gray looked over at Natsu once more for the millionth time that night and smiled. Natsu noticed and looked over at Gray, making eye contact with him. "What's wrong? Why are ya staring?" He asked with a confused look. Gray couldn't hold himself back and grabbed Natsu's face, kissing him lovingly. Natsu was taken by surprise but leaned into the kiss putting his hands on Gray's cheeks too. When they pulled away they both smiled, laughing a little before sharing quiet "I love you's" This made the other guests cheer once again.
Hearing them cheer made Natsu blush since in that moment he'd forgotten about them completely. Gray just smiled and held Natsu's hand and so did he.
Everyone spent the rest of the night drinking and partying until Natsu decided he wanted to be alone with Gray for the night. Gray of course didn't argue and they left the others to enjoy the night. "Gray.." Natsu started. "Hm?" Gray asked curious about what he has to say. They were walking alongside the shore near the guild watching the waves. "Thank you for being here, with me, now..." he said looking over at his husband. Gray couldn't help the big smile that formed on his face. He pulled Natsu into a hug with his arms around his waist gently. He kissed his nose before looking him in the eyes and saying, "I wouldn't change how things worked out for the world. I love you so much Natsu. You mean the absolute world to me and I would give you the moon if you desired." This brought tears to Natsu's eyes as he hugged Gray, leaning his head on his shoulder. "You mean the world to me too Gray. I love you so so much you have no idea. I could tell you a million times and it wouldn't be enough! I would do anything in this world for you, GIVE anything in this world for you..." Natsu leaned back to look at Gray.
"It's almost scary what in willing to do for you my love. I just.. I love you Ice Princess!" "I love you more Flame Head"
They shared a tender kiss with the moonlight shining over their bodies. They put all their love into that one kiss, and with that they knew that they finally had each other..
