I woke to my eight thirty alarm.

Quickly getting dressed in a bright red shirt and blue acid washed jeans, I grabbed my red backpack and walked out the door slipping on my checkered black and white vans as I walked.

I checked and double checked that I had my permission slip and my watch.

I grabbed some breakfast and watched peter rush in with his backpack as well.

It didn't look like he was as prepared as me, luckily I prepared extra for him so we wouldn't be spotted.

Mama Nat came in and we kissed each other's cheeks in goodbye and we ran to the parking lot.

We rushed to school, Happy dropping us off just in time to hand our permission slips to Mr. Herrington.

"Mr. Herrington I seem to be having a clothing malfunction and I need peter's help to get it because it's in the back of my shirt so can we run to the bathroom real quick?" I asked

"Sure just hurry back, we don't want to be late" I nodded in acceptance

Pete and I ran to the first boy's bathroom.

Peter and I changed in separate stalls, and now I wore a black hoodie, with white jeans and solid black vans, and my backpack flipped inside out, so now it was a white backpack.

I pulled out the collapsible black backpack and brought it out after I stuffed my clothes in my white one.

Once outside peter hadn't changed much from his white science pun t-shirt and black jeans, to a army green sweatshirt, and everything else was the same.

I handed him my collapsible backpack, and he accepted it.

We nodded at each other, then we left the public restroom that is the boy's bathroom.

Once we got outside the sun was shining in our eyes from where it bounced off the classic school bus.

We got on to see that Ned had saved a seat for peter and MJ had saved a seat for me right behind the two. I sat by the window, plugged in my earbuds, and leaned against the window.

Thirty minutes later, right before we got to the tower, my shoulder was tapped.

I pulled out my earbuds and looked at MJ, she the pointed to peter who had been trying to get my attention.

"What"

"Can you make it so Friday says intern instead of guest, that way it'll make flash be quiet and we won't have as high clearance levels, or at least it'll look like it."

I nodded my head.

Going to my watch, I pulled up the coding for Friday keeping everything the same except for we were announced as interns instead of guests, peter has spent enough time in the labs that it should be a plausible lie.
Unfortunately I don't go down to the labs very much, I usually help out where I can.

We arrived at the tower by the time I was done, and the group of students, save me, peter, and MJ were all looking at the tower in awe.

I rolled my eyes at what little it took to impress them, I however thought the tower was rather ugly when I first saw it from the hospital window.

Wow that feels so long ago.

The group of students seemed to get over it enough to get into the building where the receptionist was typing away on her computer.

Peter and I started ducking, and made our way to the back, hopefully enough that she wouldn't see us.

Mr. Herrington got the badges that would give limited access to the building.

He passed them out but when he got to me and peter he was confused.

"Uh I think you missed two of my students"

The receptionist looked up in confusion, then when she spotted us, then she instantly smiled.

"There's no confusion, they already have passes" she stated from her desk.

Now that our cover was blown, we had to go talk to her.

"Hey Maggie"

"Hey Maggie" Peter said shyly

I rolled my eyes, seeing as he's not shy when we're here after school.

"Anyways could you do us a huge favor and not tell our respective parents/family that we're here?" I asked.

"Why?" She said rather curiously, Maggie Smith was the only worker in the building that actually knew the truth, besides happy, but he doesn't really count, because Mr. Blabbermouth over there told her as soon as my adoption papers were finalized.

"We'd rather not have them embarrass us, and you know they will"

She nodded.

"You're the best Maggie" I smiled at her.

"I know I know, now hurry up and go do the tour."

Peter and I nodded before walking over to the group who looked at us in shock, I just rolled my eyes and strutted to the back, hopefully none of the other workers will recognize us.

The tour guide arrived, he wasn't anyone that I recognized but by the wink he sent to Maggie, I'd guess he was her boyfriend.

"Alright guys, all you have to do is swipe your badge on the scanner, but don't be alarmed, it's only our AI FRIDAY, that starts talking." He proceeded to swipe his badge on the scanner, introducing him as a delta intern, FRIDAY announced him. "See nothing to be scared of guys"

The students started forming a line, flash pushed his way to the front, and peter and I stayed at the back.

The tour guide just looked at the ground, probably looking at all the flakes of gold in the black marble.

"Flash Thompson, guest, omega"

The line went on, announcing everyone the same way.

Then peter stepped through. FRIDAY's voice almost seemed human after the robotic sounding one announcing everyone else.

"Peter Parker, intern, delta, peter you seem to be here early today, should I alert boss that you're here?"

"NO!!" Peter blurted "i mean no, Friday I'm just on a field trip with my classmates."

I snickered at his reaction.

The tour guide was watching with an almost amused expression on his face.

Then I swiped my badge. The tour guide's smile dropped.

"Dick Grayson, intern, delta, dick you seem to be early also should I alert.."

"FRIDAY mute" I blurted. "And no don't alert anyone that I'm here, I'm also on a field trip."

I walked through the detector, people were staring at peter and I in shock. The tour guide rushed forward and shook my hand vigorously.

"It's really nice to you, mr. Grayson sir"

"Why may I ask is it such a pleasure?" I was genuinely confused, I wasn't famous here, and technically I only appeared on this earth like two months ago.

"You're the ghost, the one who's super smart, and helps out the other workers, and then you just disappear, you usually don't talk very much, so we gave you the nickname ghost."

Interesting.

I just nodded my head at him so we could get started.
