I open the door .. and there she is .. my best friend Leena, smiling too brightly at me. God !! sometimes I feel jealous of her alacrity and zeal. She gives me a swift hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Lee being nice is still a novelty for me. She's bit of a tomboy. She's a little shorter than me but then most girls are.. I'm 5'10.
She's just gorgeous .. Those red hair .. green eyes.. petite structure.. just add more and more to her Bellè.

She never dates, NEVER. She just have sexual relationships with people and she burry the hatches right after it.
The word 'Love' freaks her out, probably because her parents separated when she was quite young and that seperation didn't do anything good for the 'Harpers'. Both her parents got married again with other people and Leena's brother, Daniel decided that they won't stay with either of them. So Both Lee and Dan have been living on their own since the past 3 years. All their parents do is, send them money. That's it .. Oh!! and the occasional dinners.
It sucks.. But It is what they all want.
I notice that Lee is still in her nightwear and her silver piercings are changed to black..
"Did you just wake up?" I ask her while following her to the kitchen.
"Nope !! I just didn't feel like changing today." She says as she puts a handful of pretzels in her mouth!
"Well guess what.. I had the exact same plan until Lucas called me.. My life sucks." I sit beside her on one of the chairs.
"I've said it before and I'm saying it again, Fuck the mingle life.. I mean look at me.. Have you ever seen me going nuts over some stupid person or a relationship ? NO !!" She says mockingly..
"That's because you are you.. You're okay about all this.. I am not.. I need that kind of intimacy in my life.. And I don't mind handling the drama that comes with it." I say to her.
"Chill man ! I don't mind seeing you getting screwed up either. It's quite entertaining!!" She winks at me !
"Well offcourse my misery is amusing to you."
"It's not even a big deal. He was no Johnny Depp. He was a flabby dickhead who couldn't get his head out of his ass. I'm glad he did one nice thing in his life, breaking up with you. Otherwise you would've pitied yourself into dating him forever. Just move the hell on now please."
"Why don't you realise.. I have moved on.. I am not mad at him. I am not even missing him for crying out loud ! I am angry because I've got a huge list of failed relationships in my resumé .. What am I supposed to do ?"
"Hmmm!! I know what you can do!" Lee says excitedly..
"What?" I ask her.. She smirks at me ..
"You seriously need to get drunk with your best friend !!"
I look at her dumbfoundedly, waiting for her to complete her sentence.
"OH COME ON!! Don't give me that look. Let's go out and have some fun. Keep all the boy drama out of your life for one night. Let's get super drunk.. We'll dress sexy, we'll partayyy, we'll meet strangers, and maybe we'll have some fun.. you know what I mean.. huh !!" She nudges me with her elbow and stick her tongue out.
"Getting drunk is not the solution for every problem Lee !!"
"I know it's not the solution and who cares about the frigging solution. It's the Weekend !! We deserve a break ! The last time we went drinking was on the night of your Graduation. It's been 4 months. Come on, Don't be a spoilsport !! Just say you're in !!"
It's so hard to say no to her.. And she made some really good points !! We do need a BREAK !!
I give Lee a side glance and smile. Knowing her love for drama and overreactions I bang the kitchen counter and stand making her gasp..
"I am so in!!" I say to her dramatically.
"Woohoo!" Leena squeals and hugs me. "WE-WILL-HAVE-SO-MUCH-FUNNNNN" Leena screams.
I laugh at her. What will I do without her. I don't have many friends maybe That's why Leena is so special to me. We've known each other since middle school and since then we are inseperable. We're like sisters..

After watching Netflix and eating pizzas, Leena leaves for her home. We'll meet again this evening at 8 'o' clock. It's 5:30pm now.
I go to my room upstairs and apply for the jobs I've marked in the newspaper. I'll start my interviews from Monday. It's been 4 months since I graduated from my college and I'm looking for a job in the advertising sector. I have always been a bright student and I'm confident enough that I'll get a job worth my while. By 6:30pm I'm done with my work.
I get up and check my closet for something 'sexy' for tonight as per Lee's order. I decide to wear my backless black dress with a small slit at the side.
After taking a quick shower I blow dry my hair and keep them open. I keep my makeup to minimal, put on my strappy heals and take one final look at the mirror. I look good I guess !!

**Waiting for you outside!** Leena texts me. Oliver isn't back yet. And dad is at Uncle Bob's place. I take my clutch and coat and walk downstairs. I take a deep breath and step out of the house.
