I just read the new Christmas chapter and instantly fell in love so here's my own lil Christmas Kiribaku oneshot. Warnings: cursing (duh), tooth-rotting fluff

It was Christmas in 1-A Alliance. Everyone, save for a certain ash blond, was getting in the spirit. They all wore Santa costumes, sang carols, and exchanged presents. Iida was Santa Claus, passing out the gifts to their respected owners.

It was fucking gross.

Bakugou didn't see the point in celebrating Christmas at U.A.. They were there for one reason and one reason only: becoming heroes. Villains didn't remember what time of year it was and suddenly go, "Oh my goodness gracious, it's Christmastime! We can't be villains during Christmas." So, yeah. It was ridiculous, especially since two particular classmates were absolutely set on getting him into the spirit.

He was so tempted to just brood in his room. The only thing keeping him downstairs was the food.

"Hey, Bakubro!" exclaimed Kirishima from across the room. He glanced at the redhead who, as always, had a huge grin on his face. "Where's your Christmas spirit, man?" Kirishima was referring to his outfit. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the signature skull and black sweatpants.

Bakugou only rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest as Kirishima crossed the distance between them. He leaned against the doorway on one shoulder, fixing a glare at the redhead. Of course, that didn't deter him in the least. If anything, that only spurred him on further.

"Do you not like Christmas?" he inquired once he was an arm's length away.

"It's a waste of time. We're here to become heroes, not play around like damn babies," he muttered.

Kirishima shrugged, "Sometimes Christmas is what brings hope to struggling citizens, ya know? I don't think it's a waste of time. I think it's the manliest holiday!" The redhead pressed his fists together with a determined grin.

Suddenly, Ashido and Kaminari were behind Kirishima, the both of them sporting mischievous smirks. Bakugou regarded them with a dubious look. His classmates were so weird. Why they insisted on meddling in his life was beyond him.

"What's up with you losers?" scoffed the ash blond.

"Mistletoe!" they shrieked in unison. Immediately Bakugou shot away from the doorway. Those two idiots would probably push him and Kirishima together to satisfy their weird little hearts. He looked up. Sure enough, there was the shitty mistletoe. How had he not noticed it before? Obviously Kirishima hadn't either, as he stared up at it with wide eyes.

"C'mon, Bakubro," Kaminari drawled. "You don't want to be a coward, do you? It's just one little kiss!"

Kirishima had his own parasite trying to convince him. "Kiri. It's tradition. Men uphold tradition. You know this. Are you not a man?" persisted Ashido. Meanwhile, they pushed the two of them together so subtly Bakugou hadn't even realized what they were doing until it was too late.

"No, this is bullshit, who even cares about a stupid mistletoe?!" snarled Bakugou, before he threatened to burn Kaminari to ash and yes even on Christmas.

"Hey, hey, man, calm down," Kirishima reassured, his hands coming up to rest on the ash blond's shoulders. "It'll get them to leave us alone, right? So it's fine... right?"

Bakugou just scowled at him. The redhead smiled. Then he rolled his eyes, huffing a bitter 'fine.'

He was silent as Kirishima's hands trailed down to his waist. The beating of his heart was so goddamn loud he was positive the redhead could hear it. Finally Bakugou looked up at Kirishima. Ashido coughed, as if to say 'hurry up and kiss you useless gays,' and just as Bakugou was about to whip his head around to glare at her, two fingers hooked under his chin and tilted his head up. Kirishima was kissing him.

Holy fuck, Kirishima was kissing him. Fuck, fuck, fuck. What was he supposed to do?

The squealing of Ashido and the clapping of Kaminari and Sero faded from his mind. Kirishima was kissing him, and he was kissing him back.
