Chapter 3: Relaxing together

Jack POV

Many hours later I suddenly felt a warm hand on my shoulder, which shook me gently and lovingly. "Jack? Come on buddy. Wake up. I got our lunch ready.", I then heard the wonderful voice of the person I had fallen in love with. Slowly and slightly sleepy I opened my eyes and saw Mark with a sweet smile on his face sitting next to me on the bed. His chocolate brown eyes looked at me cheerfully and had to smile. After a yawn left my mouth, I stretched my body and followed Mark to the kitchen, which was connected to the living room and only was separated by a small island from the other room. With a grin my best friend handed me my plate and I sat down at the table, which was placed next to the island in the living room.

"I hope you will like it. I wasn't quite sure what I should make for lunch.", said Mark a little embarrassed and put down his plate on the table before he prepared the food for Chica. Amused it came from me: "I'm sure I will enjoy it. I love your cooking and I'm not particularly picky of what I eat. Also you know me well, so you know what I like the most." I then grinned at him and Mark blushed slightly. "Yeah, you're right about that, but still ... It is nice to know that you enjoy my food, Jackaboy. ... Oh yes, I just remembered. I got a call from Matt a few minutes ago. He wanted to know if you want to make some challenge videos with Team Edge and me together.", replied the black-haired, still slightly embarrassed. I nearly choked on my food before I calmed down and answered excitedly: "I would love to record some videos with you and Team Edge. I love Challenges! It is at least something else than playing mostly video games, hahaha."

My friend laughed with me about my joke and sat down with me at the table. "Well then, I'll let them know that we are going to visit them in a few days. Tomorrow Tyler, Ethan and I want to make a Cards Against Humanity Video with you.", came it from Mark and I nodded while looking into his brown eyes before I said: "Okay. That's fine with me. Thanks for letting me know what we will do tomorrow. It will be fun." "By the way, Bob and Wade have written me that they will join us here in three days. That's why I decided to make a reservation in three days for a restaurant, so that we can have a nice evening together. We can talk about a few things and make our plans for the next days.", informed me Mark. Slightly laughing I nodded to tell him I was fine with that.

After we had both finished eating I helped my crush to wash the dishes and put them away. With a sigh I dropped myself on the comfortable couch in the living room and stretched my body. Behind me I heard an amused laugh and saw Mark standing there. With a delicate smile it then came from him: "If you want Jack you can watch a movie. I'm just upstairs in my recording room to upload a video and then go under the shower. I'll join you after that." A slight blush came to my face and I had to swallow in order to remain calm. "That's okay. But I should check on my uploaded video too and make sure to update the fans that I arrived safely here.", I explained to Mark before I got up and went to my room.

Meanwhile my friend went up the stairs and disappeared behind a door along with Chica. As soon as I was in my room, I connected my laptop to the internet and went onto YouTube to check on my newest video. I hummed a song while I searched for the right video. After checking it out I stretched and got my cell phone out. On my way back to the living room I opened Twitter and wrote a message to let everyone know that I landed safely and am now watching a movie with my best friend. Arriving at the couch I sat back down and turned on the TV. I opened up Netflix and searched for a while until I found a movie that got my interest. Quickly I opened the movie. Before I could watch the movie, I pulled out my phone and looked at the comments, which were posted right after my last message.
