Chapter 8: Bouncy House Castle Challenge

Jack POV

Mark seemed to be really stressed since we had finished the first Challenge of the day. I had a terrible feeling in my stomach that something was up, which is the cause of my crush acting so weird. However, after the Bouncy House Castle was finally inflated, I didn't had the time anymore to talk privately with Mark about this, because the guys wanted to start quickly. Shortly after we clarified which video idea would go on which channel and immediately after that we started filming Mark's video. For this Challenge Mark, Tyler and I were on a team against Team Edge. We then gathered together in front of the large Bouncy House and smiled at the camera. A few seconds later we got the "Okay" from Bobby that the cameras were filming and Mark took a deep breath before he started to speak: "Hello! My name is Markiplier and I'm joined once again by Team Edge, Tyler and Jack of course. And we are going to do the drunk water balloon go through this giant bouncy castle that we rented for this particular video challenge"

"Look! Look!", came it from Matthias and waved towards the big inflatable parkour, which was build up behind us. I saw Bobby and the crew then attempting to show the whole castle from different angles. A few seconds later Mark continued: "We literally rented a giant bouncy castle just because we could and we're going to do a video with it." "Yeah. Why not. It's going to be fun.", I said and was super excited to finally start with the Challenge. Mark started then to further explain the Challenge: "So we have drunk goggles, they show what alcohol is..... uhhh again. So we have drunk goggles and if you've ever had one of these on, they make it really hard to see so what we're going to be doing is each team member individually is going through with these while the other guys are going to be pelting us with water balloons and our time is timed and then added to our team's time and then the team time between the two teams is going to be compared between the team-time between the teams." The longer Mark talked, the faster my best friend started to speak and had to take deep breaths afterwards.

"Got it? Cool. Alright. Let's go.", came it then from Mark after he had calmed down from his long explanation. Then we talking in between our teams who should go first, then second and then last. A few minutes later we had chosen our order and Mark took the goggles to place them over his eyes and walked to the beginning of the parkour, looking towards it. Bryan called then towards Mark: "Mark, you are facing the wrong way." "No I'm not you ass!", rolled it over Mark's lips and he seemed focused at the parkour in front of him. We all laughed shortly before Bryan began the countdown for Mark: "3...2...1...GO!" Mark jumped into the small tunnel, however, got stuck a bit and had to get back out a bit to get better into the tunnel. After that he crawled further towards the next obstacle and tried to get back to his feet while groaning a bit. The next obstacle was multiple, horizontally inflated bars and my best friend fell between them through to the other side and got back to his feet shortly after.

He then ran stumbling through obstacle number three, which was three rows of multiple, vertically inflated bars and then jumped through a hole in an inflated wall, which was obstacle number four. My best friend stood back up, slightly shaky on his feet, and climbed up a small wall before rolling down a slide on the other end. He then had to race a second time back towards the beginning through the obstacle course. My crush managed to get the slide back up rather quickly, but fell down like a rock by the wall he climbed before and crawled a little out of breath through the hole. Stumbling he went through the vertical bars again and jumped through the horizontal ones before crawling through the tunnel. After that we stopped the timer and Mark had a time of 47 seconds. Mark was not particularly wet, because most of the water bombs from our opponents had missed him.
