I groan as I wake up.

"Faith, shush..!" Ray whispers from above me. "We got company."

"What is it?" I whisper back, camouflaging myself in the leaves as my eyes search for this possible threat. I spot it as soon as it locks eyes with me. Well, as he locks eyes with me. I have a really bad habit of calling people I don't know 'it's. The man has dark eyes, which I can notice from far away, and he's got a gun at him side. The gun is removed from its holster. He shoots at me, and I dive out of the tree. I land in the lake below, and stay under the water. Nor Ray or Michael call my name. We have one rule in out friendship: If one goes down, live for them.

More gun shots, make me want to just drown myself.. But instincts as a hunter make me swim quickly to the surface. I look around. Same place, which means me, Ray and Michael have an advantage, for this man doesn't know the place as well as us. I see Michael, rolling under a bush and Ray, jumping from tree to tree as bullets sail past his head. The man has him back to me. He must think I'm dead.

I move quickly, silently. It's a great skill that I inherit from my mother, Katniss Everdeen. Yes. Katniss Everdeen has a daughter, and a son actually. Reaching a hollowed-out log, I slip my hand in and pull out one of my mother's bows. I ready the bow with an arrow, and aim at the man. He's too busy failing to shoot Ray, who's practically flying through the trees. I let the arrow fly. It hits the man right where I was aiming - the butt cheek. He yells in pain and turns to face me. With rapid speed, he's charging at me. But before he could strike me on the head with a prickly stick he found, that was big enough and heavy enough to kill me, Michael tackles him to the ground, and I shoot another arrow that lodges itself in his chest. Obviously, he dies quickly.

"Nice team work guys!" Ray jumps down from a low tree and high fives us both. We all laugh together, before checking the body.

I remove the man's dark green jacket, and search the pockets. Inside, is an I.D card. I read it aloud, "Name, Lennox Striker. Date of Birth, October twenty two. Blah, blah, blah. Other info, Lennox is a soldier in the Capitol's army... blah, blah, blah... He's sent out to check the Districts.. blah, blah, blah... Oh..! Lennox kills anyone who gets in his way and has never been beaten before? My, my, my... Never before? And he's beaten by three kids? Unbelievable. Oh, well. We got loads of money, some food, more food from hunting.. Etcetera. Well, boys! It's a job well done. I say we go back to our houses and cook for our starving families!"

And, with that, we loot the body; pick up our stuff; and go home. Making sure to pick up edible plants on the way.
