"You slept with Tom Holland?!" Beth shrieked and Amanda groaned, slamming her head into her hands.

"For the last time, Beth, I did not sleep with Tom Holland otherwise I would have woken up naked." She groaned, tying her hair back into a braid.

"Why won't you just tell me? I won't tell anyone. I'm not the gossip everyone thinks I am!" Beth whined and Amanda put her head back in her hands.

"I did not sleep with him. I don't even like the guy." Amanda said firmly. "Please stop talking about this."

"God, Amanda, no need to be such a bitch." Beth snapped before turning and strutting out of the apartment. Amanda sighed, sitting up and leaning across the counter, pulling her laptop over the table and plugging her headphones in, singing along as she finished the script.

I felt empty space, never could explain
Like you were erased, never could replace
Now it's so clear with you right here

She typed quickly as she started to edit, using the empty apartment to her advantage, instead of being forced to listen to the continuous sounds of erotica from Beth's room.

Like you were never gone
Picked up where we left off
Like you were never gone
You were always coming home

She sighed as the pages started to add up, not wanting it to be too long or too short and she gets a text from an unknown number.

U- hey it's Robert just thought I'd let u know I paid off the rest of your tuition fees for your whole course.
A- Wait, What? What the fuck? Why?
R- you deserve it. See you Monday.
A- Robert, please tell me you're kidding.

She groaned at the lack of response from him.

Yeah, you were always close
Like you were never gone
You were never gone
You were never gone

Her mind began to wander to why she left England on the first place and tears filled up in her eyes.

"Mummy? What's going on?" She asked, her hair in two braids as she watched her mum step into a burning building. "Mummy? Mummy!" She screamed over and over again as the building collapsed.

She jolted out of the memory, panting for breath and focusing as much as she could on the words of the song.

How it's meant to be, you held the key
Now promise me you'll never leave
Time slipped away, we stayed the same

She jumped when she heard the door knocking over and over, assuming Beth left her key and she got up slowly, unlocked the door and opened it to instead see her friend, Alice.

"Oh. Alice. Hi." She said softly, gesturing for her to come in and close the door. "Tea? Coffee? Snack?" Alice shook her head.

"Why are there pictures of you and Tom Holland snuggling all over Twitter with a beer bottle each?" She asked, straight to business and Amanda raised an eyebrow.

"Picture? What picture?" She asked groggily, sighing.

"You haven't seen them?" Alice replied,  grin forming on her face. "Here, look." She shoved her phone towards Amanda's face and she sighed, taking hold of the phone and staring at the pictures.

"Oh my God. Who posted these?" She instantly asked, wondering who out of who was there was likely to.

"Robert. Downey. Jr. He's posting pictures of you!" Alice squealed and Amanda rubbed her head, sensitive to the pitch.

"Oh, okay." She mumbled.

"'Oh okay?' He is a god! A god among men!" Alice fangirled, fanning herself dramatically as Amanda chuckled.

"He's a regular dude. He has a ton of money sure but he's just normal." Amanda said with a small smile. Alice squealed again and looked down and a big, goofy smile lit up her face.

"Did you -?" Amanda shook her head quickly.

"No. We didn't sleep together." She groaned, getting up to get herself something to eat.

Alice spent the whole day with her, discussing the night before and how Amanda could remember nothing.

"It's seriously all gone?" Awe was in Alice's voice and Amanda shrugged, nodding.

"I have no idea what happened." Amanda reiterated for what felt like the hundredth time. "You know what? It's late, let's just order a takeout and you can stay the night. I'll deal with Beth in the morning." Amanda suggested and Alice grinned, nodding, already dialling the number for the nearest pizza takeaway.

Amanda woke up to banging and she yawned, stretching as she got up, Alice pulling a pillow over her head. Amanda made her way to the front door and opened it, freezing with her mouth falling open when she sees who's at the door.

"Oh. Tom." She said, smiling slightly. "You'll be wanting your shirt back, huh?" She said quickly, looking around before realising she's wearing it. "Ah."

"Keep it. It looks better on you anyway." He said softly with a smile, gazing at her, distracted before he remembered why he came. "Oh! Yeah! I uh, have your shirt, that you left." He said with an awkward chuckle and she smiled at him, taking it out of his hands.

"Thanks, Tom. I'll see you Monday." She smiled again as she was about to close the door before changing her mind. "Uh, you wanna come in? My friend is here but I can tell her to not be weird." She offered and Tom grinned instantly, almost looking like an excited puppy and he nodded quickly.

"I'd love to!" He said instantly and followed her back into her dorm.
