Emma had been sitting in her car around the corner from Regina's house since 6' oclock. She hadn't talked much to the dark haired woman since Saturday when she first got to watch Henry with his mother's permission. In bewteen then and now she's gotten the opportunity to see Henry, but she had only spoken to the mayor a handful of times. Actually only when Henry and her were meeting against her wishes did they talk the most. The mayor and Henry had been in her life for about nearly a week now, which is how long she told Henry she'd stay. She wanted to stay longer to get to know Henry more but also Regina. She was an intriguing character and if she had a place in town perhaps she'd pursue her longer, but this date was more of a goodbye than a date. She only had enough money on her to pay for a room at Granny's for a week. After today she'd need to, pack up and head home to Boston.
It was almost 6:30 and Emma did not plan on pulling up to the front until then. She didn't want to look desperate despite the fact that she wouldn't see her much after tonight. After all she did have a slight attraction to her.
At 6:29 Emma pulled the car around out front and exited her car. She fixed her shirt and dusted off her shoulders as she knocked on the door. On the other side she could hear heels clacking against the floor before they reached the door.
As the door swung open Emma's lips curled into a smile seeing the mayor all dressed up. She wore a black, skin clinging, mid thigh length dress with golden stilettos and hoops. as her hair hung free near her face.
"Madam Mayor," she said through her smile, "You look beautiful."
Regina gave her a small smile, "Thank you... Emma. You look rather dashing," she said eyeing the blonde with her hair thrown up in a bun wearing black jeans, a white, long sleeved, button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and some black loafers.
"Thanks," Emma blushed, "shall we?" she said offering her arm for Regina to take.
The mayor accepted and let her walk her to her car. Emma opened the door for Regina.
"So Emma ho was the wait around the corner?" she asked as she got in the car.
Emma's eyes widened, "How did you kn-"
"I can see a lot out of my bedroom window," she answered with a smirk before Emma could even finish her question.
Emma turned to see that the street she had parked on was in fact in eye sight of the mayoral house.
She laughed at herself, "Can't get anything past you Regina," she said as she closed the car door.
Emma went to the driver's side and entered. She drove a short way to the local town bar and club, The Rabbit Hole.
When they parked Regina eyed her suspiciously, "You know of The Rabbit Hole?"
Emma shrugged, "You said you wanted drinks. So I did my research. This was like the only bar in this town."
Regina raised her eyebrow and smirked as she opened her door, "So you researched?"
Emma rolled her eyes and smirked as she got out the car to rush over to Regina's side.
She offered her hand to help the mayor out the car, "Only for you," she replied with a wink.
Regina could feel her cheeks blushing, but she didn't want them too. She had to remember her plan.
Emma escorted Regina into the club on her arm.
"Shall we dance?" Regina offered with the raise of her brow, "It's been awhile since I've been on the dance floor."
Emma shook her head and laughed, "Oh no. I don't dance. Besides I thought we were here for drinks."
Regina gave a faux pout, "You're no fun," she said as they headed into the bar where Emma ordered Jäger and root beer while Regina ordered a rum & coke with an appletini for fun. Regina found a place for the two to sit while Emma waited for the drinks. The blonde noticed the appletini and laughed.
