"How is you're first day going, Sheriff Swan?" Regina said walking into the police station.
"It's fine, what are you doing here Regina," Emma said with a small smirk.
Regina chuckled, "Let's stick with Mayor Mills when we're clocked in alright Miss Swan."
Emma shrugged, "Whatever you say Madam Mayor."
Regina took a seat on the corner of the Sheriff's desk, "I need the reports on all the arrests made in the last 2 months. Graham was supposed to turn it in before he left us for a fascinating butchering career in Boston," she said with a roll of her eyes.
"Is it normal for people to just leave? Henry told me nobody leaves Storybrooke and Graham didn't so much as leave a note. We were supposed to go out this week and he didn't even say goodbye. How and why would someone leave a stable home and job?" Emma questioned while she thoroughly thought the situation through.
"I wouldn't worry about it Sheriff. I mean I only know because I was on my way home from my office and I saw Graham packing up his car. He said he wasn't happy here... He wasn't happy with me... So forgive me if I'm not all too worried about his departure," Regina said inspecting her nails.
"Wait you and Graham?"
Regina nodded her head, "You're not the only Sheriff I've had an interest in Miss Swan. Power pairs nicely with power doesn't it?"
"But you didn't show an interest in me as Sheriff Swan, you showed one in me as Emma the bailbonds woman. Not necessarily powerful," Emma pointed out.
"But you emit power Emma. A power much to grand for this world. Why do you think I appointed you Sheriff?"
Emma smiled, "Emma, that's a little unprofessional don't you think Madam Mayor?"
The brunette rolled her eyes once again as she hopped off the desk, "The reports, Sheriff Swan, I need them by tonight."
"See you tonight then," the blonde replied.
Regina turned towards her and laughed as she gave a flirtatious wave and exited the station.
Emma spun around in her chair and goofed off for a bit before turning to the computer. She only knew how this stuff worked because she was usually on the other end of it. She started on the reports and was able to quickly finish them as, now this might be a surprise, Storybrooke didn't have many arrests.
She drove over to Regina's house earlier than anticipated to drop off the reports. She knocked on the door and awaited the brunettes answer.
The door opened, indeed revealing a brunette.
"Henry!" Emma said with a shock filled smile.
She was happy to see the kid but not who she was initially expecting.
Regina's voiced floated down the halls, "Henry who is it?"
"It's Emma," he answered, "What are you doing here?" He whispered so only Emma could hear.
"I've got some reports for your mother," she said showing him the files, "I'm the new-"
"Sheriff Swan!" Regina interrupted, "Are you done already?"
A huge grin grew on Henry's lips, "Sheriff?! Really?! That means you're staying right?!"
Emma smiled and nodded her head, "Why else would I get a full time gig kid?"
"Yes!" He cheered as he lunged forward and gave her the biggest hug, "What is Graham then, like your deputy?"
"Graham actually moved kid. To Boston, according to your mom."
