"Emma!" Mary Margaret exclaimed, "You're home. I was starting to get worried."

She smiled up at the blonde from her bowl of cereal but noticed her pout.

The teacher cocked her head, "What's wrong trouble in paradise? What's the mayor gone and done now?"

"She was just acting strange. One moment were having this silent but nice intimate moment and the next she gets all jumpy & nervous and kicked me out," Emma explained as she put her keys down and sat across from her loftmate.

"Is it bad that the hard part to believe about that is that Regina was nice & intimate?" Mary Margaret laughed.

Emma chuckled and sucked her teeth, "Give her some credit she's doing her best as a single mom and mayor. I'm telling you she's not all bad."

"So you keep insisting but it seems like she just keeps trying to destroy my happiness," she responded as she handed Emma the paper from that morning, "I don't know how she did it but she did."

"What do you mean," Emma asked picking up the paper.

On the front page was a picture of the John Doe from the hospital, the patient that Mary Margaret had just so happened to have started dating in the last few weeks since he awoke. The title bolded across the front page was Wife Comes Forward for Storybrookes Infamous John Doe.

"He's married?" Emma asked, "How are you gonna blame this on Regina? She didn't make them marry eachother before he went into a coma."

"I don't know how she did it but I know she did. Anywho enough about your girlfriend keys talk about my boyfriend who is now my ex because he's got a wife named Catharine. His name is David by the way. It suits him so well. A charming old timey name that just sits on his shoulders nicely. Oh what am I supposed to do," Mary Margaret ranted as she played with her cereal.

"Isn't it obvious. You can't keep seeing him," Emma chimed in.

Mary Margaret sighed, "I was hoping you wouldn't say that."

"Mary Margaret, he's married. You can't actually be considering continuing seeing this David guy," Emma scoffed.

"Of course not, as much as I want to, I know its wrong. But it feels like I knew him Emma. Like we were meant to cross paths," The teacher groaned.

"Like destiny? You're starting to sound like Henry," Emma smirked.

"I know it sounds crazy but we had a connection Emma," She tried explaining.

"And I thought me and Regina had one too, but look where we are now," Emma said getting a beer from the fridge, "The look in her eyes when she told me everything was fine. She was lying, she hasn't lied to me since the day I arrived in Storybrooke and she said it was a pleasure to have me in town. She lied then, but she hasn't lied since until today. Maybe we just weren't meant to be in relationships Mary Margaret."

"What? Emma no. Don't ever say that. Everyone's meant to have love, even if it is with Regina Mills. Go talk to her, I'm sure she has a good reason for acting the way she did. You know, I've never seen her parents? Maybe they died and today's is the anniversary of their death. Honestly you never know and the only reason I'm even trying to patch y'all up is because I'm losing my, whatever he is, but I don't lose hope. You on the other hand," she said running a hand through her short black hair, "Emma you don't seem to have very much hope to begin with. And I won't let your first disagreement with, Regina Mills of all people, be the reason you lose it again. Go get your woman Emma!"
