The Corrupted Backstory

"Hello everybody! As you can tell by all of the shoutong, I am your new president! As I promised in my campaign speech I plan to make the state of Aeristar (Air-is-tar) a peaceful and friendly place one again, by driving out all of these terrorists!" The new president, Clarence Crawford, said into the microphone at an event in one of the most terrorist populated states in the USA.

I was sitting in my full suit, in a black car next to my partner, Jake Sky, or sense we are on the job, Shadow Claw. Our boss Dread was in a car on the other side of the presidential speech crowd. This was the biggest attack of all of them so far. We both heard over the radio, "Shadow Claw, when we make the attack your first job is to plant a death blossom in the middle of the street, to slow incoming traffic, then go after the president, Dynamo you play deterrent and keep the "heroes" from getting to us, understood?"

"Yes sir." We both responded in unison, that is when the attack began, We all jumped out of the cars, Shadow Claw ran behind the car, and stabbed his claws into the ground to cause a Death blossom to extend it's shadow roots deep into the ground, and it grew super high into the sky, tentacles than followed and smashed anything that moves that isn't one of us.

I than saw the rogue Savior Corporation robot R34P3R flying at me with shadow wings, I than shot a bolt of lightning at it, overloading it and causing it's joints to lock up and it to fall down to the ground, I than drew my sword and slashed it's head off.

Dread than contacted me over my earpiece, "Dynamo get over here, fast, I've got Luke Warm cornered!"

I used my grappling hook to swing over to Dread and launched a ball of electricity at Luke Warm, knocking him into the wall of the building next to him. As I was about to stab him however he launched a wave of heat, knocking me and Dread away, he than ran and escaped back to wherever he was hiding out.

I was confused, what happened in that weird valley, what did that voice mean, veins pulsing with electricity, how, and where am I.

BOOM! I heard a loud explosion followed by heavy gunfire.

Dread, Shadow Claw, and I were going back to The Savior Corporation, which we teamed up with, and are now operating on there sub 49th floor. As we arrived we went straight to the elevator, Dread slammed his hand up against the scanner and said "Level sub 49." As he finished the doors closed and the elevator instantly began descending very fast. When it reached our floor, we all got out and just before we went our separate ways to finish what we were doing just before we left to go make our strike, Dread asked us, "So, what happened back there, with the president, after Luke Warm escaped I couldn't find him anywhere."

"Well obviously I sliced open his throat and threw him through a window to make sure that there was minimal chance that he would be found before he died." Shadow Claw responded. 

"Good Job, now, see if you can track down Luke Warm and locate just where he is hiding, so that we can take down that annoying mercenary once and for all." Dread responded.

Shadow Claw simply nodded and wen to load up a holographic map of the city using one of the holographic projectors in the main room on this floor. I went and continued working on some explosives for getting into Luke Warms base. As I was doing that however, Shadow Claw set the map to track heat signatures within the last 24 hours, and as is to be expected... "There, I found it! Luke warm is camping out in some hidden cave base just outside of the city!" Shadow Claw exclaimed.
