The Fall Of Magnys

I jumped from the window and grappled on top of a roof across the way. As I got onto it I saw a huge space station looking thing in the sky, blocking out the sun. When I looked at the Station I saw a ton of missiles flying down towards the city hitting it in different spots, one landing on a building near the one I am on. It fell over and almost crushed me but I managed to swing up to a room in that building using the grappling hook, so now I am in a toppled building, held off the ground by another building.

I climbed to the roof and saw around five drones flying around and occasionally stopping to shine a bright blue beam into the ground, they then all left the area around the spot and a giant blue steel crystal began to grow out of the ground. Most of these were in the ocean, causing tons of water to pour into Magnys, any tall buildings that weren't knocked down by the missiles are definitely falling now. I need to try to find out where my team are but there is no way I would even be capable of reaching the old base with the destruction, my only option is to form some sort of a safe haven for the civilians, Luke Warm and the rest of them will need to come to me, I need a boat of some sort to transport many civilians at one time.

I began to try to make my way to where the docks used to be as more and more crystals were destroying the city. As I neared the destination I began needing to jump across Blue Steel crystals to get there, but I saw a large sailboat stuck rammed into a building. I made my way over to it and used my grappling hooks to pull it into the water all the way. When it landed in the water I began to steer it until I saw a group of people on the roof of a small building. I pulled the boat near them and called to them, “Hey, it’s Dynamo, I can get you all to safety.” I threw a rope up to them and one of them grabbed it and tied it to something up top, people began to slide down the rope to the ship and once everyone was on I cut the rope and began to sail us away, towards a skyscraper with another one knocked into it, the standing one was still strong enough that it should be able to handle and stay up, as we got there I tied the ship to pillers that are nearby, I than smashed a window in the downed skyscraper. I then climbed up with the civilians following me, once we reached the standing one I saw a smashed window that leads to it, I climbed through it and helped everyone inside. 

I walked up to a window to the outside once everyone was inside, “This may just be the only somewhat safe place left in Magnys.” I said as I saw another skyscraper collapse and launch water flying everywhere. “Now I just need to find the others.” I finished as I saw a Savior Co, lander flying over the city, It stopped moving and opened up the back of the lander, all of the drones flew in and I heard from another broadcast picked up by my scanner, “Magnys, Blue Steel Sweep One, Concluded, Launching mining drones.” 

I smashed the window and grappled to the lander before it started moving, I jumped in front and smashed through its windshields. “I knew I hadn't seen the last of you things,” I said as I saw a Savior Co. bot at the controls. I then saw out of the corner of my eye a release miners switch that the robot was about to push, I grabbed my sword and slashed the robot's arms and head off before it could press the button, however. I threw the husk of the robot onto the floor and took the controls, I tried to take control over the lander but couldnt stop it before it crashed through the windows of the same floor that we were staying on in the same building, Everyone who was in its way only barely managed to dodge it.

I walked out of the lander and told everyone that we have some supplies inside that I will need help getting out. Multiple of the able-bodied people began helping me move supply boxes out of the lander.

As we were getting the boxes out and set down I could hear a loud “Hello, civilian do you require some as….. Dynamo is that you?” I turned to see a lander which had been painted red, orange, and black with some strange image of a star/flower mixture painted on either side hovering by the window I jumped through to take down that other lander. There was a civilian sitting by the window when it arrived, that must be why they stopped. It turned around and the back cargo door opened and I saw Jake and Luke Warm standing there, with the guy that I saw before with his ax standing there next to them. They flew closer to the window and walked out.

“Hey, lightning boy.” The guy with the ax said. 

“Don’t worry about him, he said a hero from where they live came here to look for you after the powers were nullified probably hoping that you knew anything about it, so his friend came and was wondering where you were, so we started to search for you,” Jake told me as he walked up to me.

“TALON, TALON, WHERE ARE YOU AT!?!” The guy with the ax yelled out.

“He isn’t here, so stop yelling,” Lukewarm said annoyed.

The ax guy sighed and walked back onto the lander.

“Where is Reaper?” I asked Luke Warm.

“He is on the Lander, I don't know what happened but he got heavily damaged by the blast from that nexus thing.” He responded.

“Yeah, we need to take that thing down fast, but we need to find a way up to the space station.” 

“Well without that drive you were sent for, this baby isn't going to break atmosphere without exploding instantly.” Jake chimed in.

“I can help with that.” I heard from behind me as the queen from the town I helped appeared behind me using a portal.

“Wait, how did your powers not get wiped?” I asked shocked she was still able to use her powers.

“Ahhh silly child, did you forget that we weren't on the planet when the nexus activated.” She responded, causing me to remember the fact that I helped them get to another dimension.

“Of course, you can just portal us to the station, that is how we will need to do this then.” I responded to her, “Thank you, queen.”
