The Enchantress wrote up the Zodiac, which is a collection of both living and nonliving figures that appear in the night sky at different points in the year. The living and nonliving figures include the ram, the bull, the twins, the crab, the lion, the virgin or the maiden, the scales, the scorpion, the archer, the goat, the water bearer, and the fish.
The Children are the ones raised by the Zodiac. There are three types of Children: first generation, second generation, and third generation.
First generation Children can only occur with the signs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces. First generation Children are children who were somehow separated from their parents, either by death or abandonment, and raised by their corresponding animal of their sign. First generation Children can usually speak their sign’s language.
Second generation Children can be any sign. The second generation is every Child who wasn’t raised by their corresponding animal of their sign. Most of the second generation is made up of orphans who became a Child based on their birthday after their parents had died. Second generation Children usually can’t speak their sign’s language. I think it’s safe to say most of the Children are second generation.
Third generation Children are children of two Children of the same sign. Third generation Children usually can’t speak their sign’s language unless both their parents could speak the sign’s language, in which case the language is passed down to the child.
The ability to speak a sign’s language occurs in about 50% of Children.
The first sign is Aries, the ram. Dates between March 21 and April 20 are dates of Aries. Aries’ element is fire, and if you are a Child of Aries you should be able to control the element of fire.
The second sign is Taurus, the bull. Those born between Aril 21 and May 21 are the sign of Taurus. Taurus’ element is earth, and Children of Taurus can control the element of earth.
Gemini, the twins, is the third sign. Geminis are born between May 22 and June 21. To be a first generation Child of Gemini, you have to be a twin born between May 22 and June 21 who has lost their twin. Gemini’s element is air, and Children of Gemini can control the element of air. The ability to control the element of air may not sound useful, but it really means the ability to control nonmoving inanimate objects with their mind (so basically they can’t control fire, water, or earth, I asked my friend who’s a Gemini).
The fourth sign is by far the best, because it’s my sign. Cancer, the crab, dates are between June 22 and July 22. There aren’t a lot of Cancers, the reason being crabs aren’t really nurturing, loving parents. Children of Cancer can control the element of water, as Cancer’s element is water.
Leo, the lion, is the fifth sign. Days between July 23 and August 23 are Leo days. For the same reason for lack of Cancers, there aren’t many Leos. Leo’s element is fire, and Children of Leo can control the element of fire.
The sixth sign is Virgo, the virgin or the maiden. Virgo days fall between August 24 and September 23. Virgo’s element is earth, and Children of Virgo can control earth.
Libra, the scales, is the seventh sign. No, Children of Libra are not raised by scales, although that would be amusing to see. Libra’s days are between September 24 and October 24. The element of Libra is air, and Children of Libra can control air.
The eighth sign is Scorpio, the scorpion. Days between October 24 and November 22 are the days of Scorpio days. Children of Scorpio can control water, Scorpio’s element.
Sagittarius, the archer, is the ninth sign. Although the sign is the archer, Sagittarius is usually represented by a centaur, a creature that is half man and half horse. Thus, first generation Children of Sagittarius are raised by horses. Sagittarius’ element is fire, and Children of Sagittarius can control this element.
Capricorn, the goat, is the tenth figure and sign of the Zodiac. Capricorn days fall between December 22 and January 20. Children of Capricorn can control earth, Capricorn’s element.
The eleventh figure is Aquarius, the water bearer. Days between January 21 and February 19 are days of Aquarius. Even though Aquarius is the water bearer, its element is air. Children of Aquarius can control the element of air.
The last sign is Pisces, the fish. Pisces days are between February 20 and March 20. Children of Pisces can control the element of water as it is Pisces’ element.
I think I could publish this entry as The Idiot’s Guide to the Zodiac and make a million dollars because there are a lot of idiots out there.
