It turned out that the girl didn't cause much trouble, I had asked Heather to take care of her and make sure she was kept safe. Heather didn't ask much questions, she never did, but I could tell she was confused of why this girl needed my help and so was I... I didn't ask Franco about it tho, because it wasn't my place to wonder. He asked me to do something for him and I did, that was how the buisiness worked, you don't ask to much questions and if you did, that could get you in grave danger... I was always told to never ask questions and to just do what I was told and as I got older, I started to understand why that was.

People who ask too many questions seem suspisious and most people in the buisiness, when they notice something is of, they will get paranoia and may even try to kill you...

I tried not to think to much about the girl and the reason she was there, but I was the one who had responsability over her if it came down to it.

I went to check up on her regularly. The office was turned into a little one room house. I could tell that lola had done most of ot herself, since there was no way that luca could make anything look as cozy and nice as it did. I was suprised the first time I walked in. Opposite of the door stood a bed, white sheets spread over it. On the right stood the bureau and chair that were standing in the middle of the room before. On the walls hung some posters to cover up the gunshot holes in the walls and the scratched of paint on the walls. Some beige carpet to cover and warm up the cement floor and a small couch was placed against the left wall. It looked like a prison cell that had been decorated. I wouldn't be able to live in anything like it, but Lola seemed to be fine with the conditions.

Whenerver I came by, I didn't say much, I mostly stayed outside and talked to whoever was on security duty.

"Anything happen while I was gone?" I asked.
Tony had send one of the new guys to secure the place for today, it was one of the guys that were also there in the hotel with the Monti thing, I remembered his face vaguely. He wasn't that big, but he did have some muscle.

"Except from some drunk dudes having a fight, nothing really..." he replied.

"What's your name?"

"It's Serano sir." He replied.
He had done time in the army, I could tell by the way he carried his upperbody. Chest forward and neck straight. Leaning on both his legs and no slacking on any of it. He seemed like a good guy. I told myself to ask Tony more about him when I saw him again.

"Have you checked on the girl today?"

"Not yet, but I was planning on doing so in 15 minutes.." he said a little insecure.

"I'll make you a deal, I'll check on her now for you and you take 5. That sound good in your ears?" I asked him.

He let his body loosen a bit, nodded and then headed out.

I walked over to the back of the club, opened the door to the storage, immediatly turned to the right and knocked on the door.
"Come in." I heard from the other side. Her voice was soft and tender. I opened the door calmly and walked in. She was laying on her bed with a book in her hands. She didn't look up immediately, but when she did, she seemed confused to see me standing in the doorpost.

"Mister D'André? What are you doing here?" She asked quickly.

"What do you think..." I rolled my eyes.
"What you got there." I could read the title, but I didn't know it.

"It's called The Hobbit, it's about these little magical creatures that have to steal the treasure of a dragon or something... I think... I haven't read it until the end yet... ." She replied.

"Yeah, that's probably why I didn't know it... you realize that all that magic mumbo jumbo is al bullshit right?" I asked.

She didn't answer me, she just giggled a little instead.
