Ice Queen (Book One)

"Wake up" a voice I was too familiar with called me. I knew it was misty herself. "Five more minutes" I groaned. "Yeah you better wake up before Miss Brown rips your head I mean she's a witch in disguise." Nina poked her head inside my tent.

Right I groaned. I entered the pond to bath. I don't know when a see a pond I am drawn to it .

I swim under the water and strangely its deep."Misty are you seeing this?"Yes misty is a cat  and cats don't like water. Mine misty isn't a cat she a mythical creature that takes form of any animal. She turned into a  snake.

" Yep am seeing this." It was an ice ball in the water. It was round like the size of my two fists. " Do you what it means misty. I'm not sure star but its safe." I inched closer to it and touched it and flashes of memories flashed in my head.

It showed  me a memory when i  was young I touched the same thing and I got ice power. My head throbbed in pain at the memory. 
  
The ball cracked, sending chills down my spine.  "You have found me master a voice said in the water. Who are you? I asked the voice. I am what I am  master your last piece in unlocking your mystery and a journey awaits you ahead filled with betrayal, dangers, mysteries and sorrow. What do you mean by journey?

Oh when the time is right you will know but for now in have to reunite with my long awaited master. Without warning, a wave of power slammed in me this time it didn't hurt instead it sent a wave of pleasure all over my body.

We have united my beloved and am marking what's mine so no one touches what's mine a strange voice said.  I didn't have time to talk when a necklace was formed on my neck. It had a blue crystal frame with a polished ball shaped ice inside with a twisted crystal as the chain with locks.

We have united we become one till eternity  the voice said. The necklace glowed activating my ice power. More power coursed through my veins. The necklace glowed brighter and brighter till it died down.

I rose from the water walking to my tent I changed my clothes. I went to the place where most students where with misty.

I sat alone by a tree. What did the voice mean by united till eternity?  I thought. And a journey what journey I thought.

" Hey Star" Nina waved coming to sit beside me. We chatted for a while before our teachers said we should from groups of four. Luckily Nina was on my team and unluckily, Lucas and Lucian where on my team. Misty was with me obviously.

"Hey look whose team we are on" Lucian said. ", The girl with gloves." Lucas added.

"Can you two shut up " Nina growled.
"Thanks Nina".

" The game is treasure hunt Miss Brown said."We've hidden ten items in the woods the team that gets the most wins."Mr Parker added.

"Now start." Mr parker blew the whistle and groups were racing in the woods.

Our group was the last to enter the woods. We went on a slow pace. I for one walked slowly to capture every little detail of the woods.

Misty walked slowly sniffing the air for any possible threat.

"Why is she doing that?" Nina asked.  Oh she is searching for food. I lied." Oh I see" she said not asking more question.

"Guys look what I found here" Lucian suddenly says getting our attention.

"A flashlight." "Looks like we've found one of the items I said. " Let's go over there Lucas pointed to a deeper part of the forest.

When he stepped closer to the hedge, a creature appeared making us scream and we took cover immediately. I heard screams not far from us meaning one thing ' danger'
