Ice Queen (Book One)

Morning came by fast and I was called by a maid to see Caelen in his study room. I got lost on the way, but I found my way. His study room was situated at the far end of the hallway and it was silent.

I knocked there times before I heard Caelen's tired voice from the inside telling me to come in.

Once I was inside, he called me to sit down on one of the couch. I saw dark bags under his eye and I knew he wasn't sleeping well.

As if he noticed my gaze on him, he shifted his gaze from his paper work to me observing me carefully before continuing.

"So can you tell me why you did what you did yesterday."I decided to break the silence.

" The reason is simple, I did that to suppress your power because since your stay in the palace, your power has increased. I fear it may get out of control if something triggers it."he explained.

"Something like what?" I asked.

" Like emotions or something." he said scratching his head.

"When will my training begin?" I ask him. "Right now" he said rising from his seat and moved to the door.

"Follow me" he gestured for me to follow him. I followed him silently.
We reached the training grounds and to my amazement it was packed.

Different people were present. It was filled with people my age. Most had white hair. I spotted few with fiery red hair, blue hair and few with Grey hair.

My eyes moved around and I saw Ezrat training with her trainer. She had no difficulty with him while Ezra
on the other hand difficulty concentrating on a spell.

I smirked at her. She can't concentrate because her trainer has a good physique.

"Hey, you are here!" Michael yelled as I rolled my eyes. I swear this guy always torments my life.

"Yes to train, duh!" I say. "Let's go" he said  enthusiacally pulling me with him.

Caelen grabbed my free wrist and pulled me to his side."I'm training her today "he said in a gruff voice.

" No fucking way, she trains with me today"Michael pulled me to his side.
A vein popped on Caelen's head showing his disapproval to Michaels idea of training me.

He then pulled me to Hus side again hurting my wrist. "I brought her here so I train her." He said pissed.

"I'm sick of you two saying I'll train her this and that, so until you settle this petty issue am going! Eclipstar out" I point to each of them and walked angrily away from them.

What wrong those two? Always having disputes among themselves. I was cut short of my thoughts when an ice wall blocked my view.

It was so fast I almost missed the  movements. Jumping from it, I turn to see my trainers in a fighting stance with their shirts off.

What the hell are they doing? A strip show or training. I thought.

I couldn't help but drink in the sight of my two bare chested trainers.

Caelen threw an ice dagger my way  and I blocked but not before giving him a glare.
 

The fight isn't fair but I can beat them anyway.

I eyed their stance looking for a weak spot to attack them. I smirk when I saw it.

I decided to give them surprise attack. I run very quickly around them. As they were distracted, I used my heel to hit Michaels leg, his weak point.

He hissed in pain and I smirk at him. Caelen run to me with something in his hand. He went to fast for me to depict his movements.

Before I knew it, he struck me with it making my eye go wide. That little witch wants to play dirty then I get it.

I dusted invisible dirt from my dress."I get it boys, you want to play, I'll give you what you want."I said stretching.

"I love my old form"I say to them readjusting my hair. " Let's play shall we?" I smirk.

I activated my power. An ice sword came in my hand. I run swiftly and jumped.
Landing, I swished the sword downwards creating a huge blast.

My trainers dogded. I did the same move again but changed the direction of the sword and ice daggers flew past them that they had to block me.

It was impossible because of the speed. Michael staggered backwards.

"Oi Mike , I see you've grown bad at your reflexes." I teased him making him give me a cold glare.

I saw them nod their heads and they run towards me with their powers activated.
They pounced in me with a full blast and I blocked using my sword.

"Crystal votissimo" I said and stroke the sword on the ground and it blasted them  with full power.

After the icy must disappeared, I saw them lying on the ground tired. My sword disappeared.

"Wow, you're good" Caelen said smiling at me."Yeah thanks to Misty over there." I said watching how she communicates with Blue.

"Well, I'm speechless you've become more powerful since the last time I spared with you." Michael slung his arm around my shoulder.

"I see, well I have to look for some friends." I said checking if Lucas and Lucian were  still training.

Their eyes met with mine and they nodded before continuing with their training.

"So we have to work on magic spells and combat." Caelen said.

I even wonder whether we trained or this was just a test. "When will I be ready to go on this journey you spoke about?" I asked Caelen.

"When the time comes but for now you have to prepare. I'll be inside if you need me call me." He said.

"Oh and I'll be take archery classes with you." He said and I nod.

After we all finished  training, we decided to head for the garden to rest.

Luac and Lucian were busily discussing something with Eyrx that I have no idea of.

My sisters on the other hand were petting their companions. Misty had her head on my lap while I sat under an orchid tree far from them.

It's been long since we all came together don't you think, Misty? I asked her.

Hmm true am too tired nowadays but its a shame that you don't like Caelen. I feel her smile on my lap

Misty.. I say with warning. I thought this chapter had been closed long ago okay right now I have loads of things to do.

I hear but becareful I find some of your friends suspicious. Like something is going to happen when you least expect it.

I somehow agree with her. The twins Lucas and Lucian have been acting a little strange since they saw me.

Like this morning, the way they looked at me and nodded it doesn't feel right.

Maybe I was so engrosses in my little world to not notice two people sitting by me.

"Hey princess, it has been a long time since we've talked don't you think?" Lucas asks me.

"Well yes, I've been a bit busy.", I say watching them closely.

"Life in this place is boring."Lucian said eyeing my necklace.

I didn't like it one bit so I placed my hand to cover it.

" Oh I have to get going I have archery class with Caelen"I say." See you soon"
