There isn't much to say about changbin.

He has always been the odd one out.

Parents were average, house is average, money was average, life for the short boy was just... Average.

As of this very night the short boy was taking a nice stroll thought the park. The rain was softly flowing to the ground all around the small boy. He didn't really care.

He just walked. His umbrella was laying, unused at his side, as he let the cool water run down his soft black hair.

If you asked him, he would say that the feeling was relaxing.

But of course he would use the umbrella if it started pelting down harshly.

Seo changbin was never much of a talker, only saying something if he deemed it important enough to be said.

As he walked he found his way into a close by 24/7 gas station. Deciding he had enough money for a snack, he didn't hesitate to go to the candy isle.

Grabbing his preferred candy he walked to the cash register. The boy standing there looked around changin's age. He looked kind of familiar, but the short boy couldn't place his finger on it.

The taller held a bright smile, even at the late time.

After a few seconds of them just staring at eachother, changbin shifted his body weight to his right foot. The shorter felt pretty awkward to say the least.

This didn't go un noticed by the boy as he asked the one question he has dreaded since a young age.

"are you okay?"

His voice was smooth, he sounded almost angelic.

"depends who is asking."

Changbin's voice betrayed him, coming out in a quiet whisper.
His tone was that of, if you weren't paying close enough attention to you wouldnt have notice.

His voice was soft. A quiet melody. The sound of a gentle breeze on a spring day.

"You um... You go to my school, right?"

"then.. I'm fine"

Both were quiet as the taller male checked out changbins candy bar. Changbin took this time to study the male, he had a tall, lanky body. His skin looked smooth to the touch and his eyes were soft.
On closer inspection, changbin looked at the name tag pinned to his shirt,

Hyunjin... Nice name

"goodbye, have a nice night."

"You too"

And with that the boys had parted ways. One hoping to never see the other again, and the other wishing to get closer to the shorter, to get under the mask.

But for poor changbin, fate can be cruel.
