I zoned out for another few minutes being caught on my thoughts about whether or not someone was going to try to murder me in my sleep and if they were successful if the paper would view them as the hero that stopped Voldemort's evil daughter.

I was probably right in thinking that at the time, I hadn't done anything relatively good yet other than being an overall smart student and an amazing Quidditch player.

I had however done things that could make me seem like a bad guy, such as when I attended Ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry I had gotten into a duel with another student, it ended with me, well quoting what I said to the headmaster "incendio'ing his ass." In the end of that story I got detention for a week and my parents got a very angry owl.

So it was a 0 good enough things done to be notable to 1 bad enough thing to override anything nice or positive I've ever done. All because my dad was Voldemort something that if normal student did everyone would turn a cold shoulder to, sense I did it, if anyone at Hogwarts found out, I would be locked up in azkaban. Okay maybe I was overacting but that's just how I felt at the time.

I then flashed back into reality and heard Dumbledore say. "Please give a warm welcome to the lovely ladies of Beauxbaton academy of magic and there headmistress madam Maxine."

The door to the Great Hall opened and a bunch of beautiful girls flooded through the door. I scanned through every boy in the room and all but one was watching the girls intently. The one boy who wasn't watching the Beauxbaton girls was too focused on me to pay them any mind, that boy was Draco Malfoy.

I tried to ignored his intent gaze but it was quite piercing, like a lion watching it's pray which was ironic because I was the Gryffindor, so shouldn't I be the lion?

I then focused on the girls who were dancing to the front using ever so peaceful magic letting purplish blue butterfly go from there hands.

It was cool but I still like incendio more. It was my favorite charm after all.

Once the pretty veela girls made it to the front all the boys clapped and cheered, I was the only girl in the whole room who clapped not another girl moved a muscle.

"Now our friends of the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and there headmaster Igor Karkaroff." Dumbledore a voice boomed through the room before we were once again greeted to more people entering the great hall.

This time the magic wasn't elegant it was very masculine and captivating. I like most the other girls leaned forward to see.

The Durmstrang Boys had cool staffs and were quite attractive. But I found my gaze once again falling upon Draco Malfoy. I had now found him distracting me again, I felt our eyes lock together as he stared at me and I at him. It was odd because he was so rude to me yet I found myself thinking about him. I also had been paying so little attention that I didn't know why these students from other schools were at Hogwarts. I had zoned out when Dumbledore explained that.

I soon snapped out of my Malfoy trance when I watched a Durmstrang boy breath a snake made of fire out of his mouth, it was something that I one day hoped to do. I then realized Quidditch legend Viktor Krum was at Hogwarts. I found myself intrigued.

We then continued on with dessert once students from both schools had gotten comfortable. I then realized that they were here for the Triwizard Tournament, I had read about it so I took this as time to once again not pay attention it was a habit I never had before now but I seemed to develop over the summer. The ability to ignore boring stuff.

I then was snapped back into reality by a storm growing inside, random kids started screaming but I myself had a half assed reaction.

I then watched a man who was missing a leg and had one fake eye disperse the storm.

"It's Mad eye Moody." Ron said confused.

Hermione than said "as in the Auror?"

"Auror?" A boy Gryffindor boy questioned.

"Dark wizard catcher, filled a few cells in azkaban thanks to him." Ron said. "Supposed to be as mad as a hatter though these days."

I then looked at the crazy grunting man to see his fake eye settle on me. Before he went close to the wall and started drinking an unidentified liquid.

"What's that he's drinking do you suppose?" A Gryffindor boy named Seamus asked

"I don't know, but it's not pumpkin juice." Harry said looking at the crazy man.

After it was announced that you had to be seventeen to participate in the Triwizard Tournament I didn't pay much attention because it wouldn't affect me at all, or at least that's what I thought.
