The Rose Queen- Draco Malfoy

Chapter 12

I walked into the Great Hall with Gemini following behind me, all eyes were in me, I flourished in the attention. Gemini walked proudly with me as we walked towards the Gryffindor table but I got yanked backwards.

"Your sitting with us today." It was Draco fricking Malfoy. I gave him a huge fake smile and took my hand back before speaking to him.

"I'd rather sit with my Gryffindor friends." I went to turn away and smiled maliciously.

"I thought they all hated you now." He stood tall and I stared up at him, who did he think he was. Was this really the way to convince me to like him by telling me I had no friends and he was my only option.

"For you information Neville is my friend." I said proud and he broke out in laughter. I didn't get it, it wasn't funny.

"Longbottom?" Draco was hysterical but I didn't move one muscle in my face. "He's a loser."

I smiled to hide my anger and said in the sweetest voice I could muster. "I geuss I'm a loser than."

He grabbed my hand again and said "Come on Nevaeh, don't be like that." This imbecile couldn't just shut up for five minutes.

"Sorry, that is just who I am, but hey at least I'm a smart loser." I hit his hand away and sat next to Neville and Harry.

"How does it feel to be hated almost as much as me?" I said in a fake happy voice and Harry responded.

"At least everyone believes you didn't put your own name in because you literally threw up." Harry said putting a bit of egg in his mouth.

"They had to give me a tonic for the nerves so I didn't throw up again." I said and Neville laughed.

"I probably would have thrown up as well if my name was called for the Triwizard Tournament." Neville said then realizing I threw up because of the name I was called by.

"Well Harry, Partners in crime?" I said changing the subject somewhat and he nodded.

"No better way." He smiled and we shook hands.

Later that day I had my first History of magic where we started with a very interesting topic. The rose queen.

I opened the textbooks we had received and turned to the indicated page and started reading like we were told. I was sat next to Harry and Neville considering everyone else was to afraid to sit with me.

The Rose Queen; Lady of the Forest:

The Rose Queen came to earth before the existence of magic its self to protect the animals of the earth, it was said that the angel was indestructible and couldn't see the bad in any creatures including the darkest of wizards and witches.

The Rose Queen was known well for the creation of all magical creatures and her ability to speak with dragons, snakes, and the rose bushes. She was considered to be the strongest woman on earth.

The Rose Queen's Only Love:

The Rose Queen, referred to as Rose by many creatures of the Forest was said to have fallen in love with a Dark wizard, it was said he didn't truly love her back but she didn't know, and she became pregnant with a baby.

Many Wizards had a strong hatred for the idea of the angel birthing a child of the dark wizard. One day a week before Rose was supposed to birth the baby James Potter tried to curse and kill the baby but Rose sacrifice herself for the baby. She died in the processes and no one to this day and knows the location of the child.

The Rose Queen's Pendant:

When Rose found out she was carrying a child she created a pendant and put every once of love she had into it, it is said to give a wizard the knowledge and power to protect themselves from any danger.

Only the most worthy wizard of the Rose Queen's love can Accio her Pendant. No one to this day has been able to get there hands on the Pendant.

I soon looked up with some sort of Hope. I was going to be the person to accio the pendant, that's how I was going to survive the Triwizard Tournament.
