I walked away from a smiling Cedric who wanted nothing more than for me to have the night of my life, boring.
I saw Draco talking to Blaise off to the side without Parkinson, who I saw crying on the other side of the dance. I now had a choice I could talk to Draco and Blaise, or I could help the Snake who was crying alone.

"Hey what's wrong." I sat down making my choice, I wrapped my arms around Pansy. She hugged me back sobbing I really felt bad for her.

"He called me, ugly, boring, and told me he only wanted to bring me because he didn't want to be seen alone." Pansy cried harder and I comforted her.

"Hey do you want a gift?" I asked the crying girl, she looked up and I did something that I had learned I could do in my dorm room.

"Tell me how you feel about him." Ginny said sitting at the feet of my bed as I sobbed.

"I can't, it's just so hard to explain how I feel about him, words don't even start to describe my feelings for him." I cried letting my face melt away.

"Just try." Ginny suggest and I took her hands sitting up. As we locked hands I let all my emotions move to my hands and soon a beautiful rose had grown in the air floating above out hands. "That's beautiful Nevaeh." Ginny understood now, the rose had done it's purpose allowing her to feel everything I felt.

"Here me give me your hands." I said and Pansy did just that, I let all my joy of everything good I had ever felt creep through and a Rose bloomed just above her hands making her happy. She stopped crying. I had let all my feelings of confidence, happiness and bravery grow into the Rose. I then gifted it to Pansy. "Next time you need a little extra push for anything hold this and you'll feel better." I placed the rose in her hands and stood up.

Before I could walk away Pansy said. "Nevaeh you know your not that bad right. The only reason I've ever been mean to you is because I envy you. So thank you for giving me this even though I made your last week hell." She smiled apologetically and I smiled genuinely back.

I then walked over to Blaise and Draco. Blaise had a bad bruise on his jaw it made me happy to know I did that even if that was a little screwed up. Draco stood looking smug next to the bruised faced boy.

"Hello boys, lovely evening isn't it." I said walking over to the boys standing infront of me.

"Nevaeh, I thought you were supposed to be with Diggory right now." Draco said trying to see what I was playing at.

"The boy's too perfect. and I thought you were supposed to be with Pansy right now, the one girl who can tolerate you enough to go to the ball with you. Honestly she deserves better." I stated seeing a flicker of angry in his eyes.

Draco's POV:

I watched Nevaeh from afar comfort Parkinson, she even gave her a rose, it made me angry that Nevaeh was paying the wench any attention. She was supposed to get made at me for being a bad date not help Parkinson, for Merlin's sake I thought Nevaeh would have hated Parkinson by now.

She soon walked over to me and Blaise smiling at the work she had down to his face. "Hello boys, lovely evening isn't it?" She questioned looking as happy as expected. I caught my eyes moving down her dress noticing how deep the v went on her dress. At this moment I didn't care if I deserved her or not I just wanted her. She was by far the prettiest girl I had ever seen and there where Beauxbaton girls all around the room.

She didn't noticing how I was staring at her body so I spoke before she could. "Nevaeh, I thought you were supposed to be with Diggory right now." I was skeptical of why she wasn't with him, I mean why would he let her walk away if he had a chance of getting to be the guy to take off her dress tonight. What guy in there right mind would let Nevaeh Rose Grey walk away from them, oh right, me.

She looked at me examining my eyes before saying, "The boy's too perfect. and I thought you were supposed to be with Pansy right now, the one girl who can tolerate you enough to go to the ball with you. Honestly she deserves better." There Nevaeh went ruining the moment by bringing up Parkinson.

"Do you want to get away for a minute." I suggested to the beautiful girl infront of me catching sight of the pendant and wondering if I was any more worthy than I was before.

"And let you abandon me ag~" I cut her off unable to pretend any longer. My lips caught hers and I separated from her grabbing her hand to lead her to the hallway. I looked back to see Blaise wink at me.
